Pekara Dubravica — Restaurant in City of Zagreb

Service was really below standard and actually very shocking! After being there multiple times, and hoping each time I’d get better service, yet after being double charged and not getting a refund I decided to leave a review.

In short, I paid with card, but the order was wrong- so instead of refunding my card payment, the lady cancelled my order on the system but completely refused to give my money back. So I had to double-pay, as she did not want to try to understand that she did not refund my card payment, but only the system order.

There ware many people that the lady behind the counter was VERY impatient and rude to me and my friend. She also refused to speak English, yet she works in the main tourist area in the whole of Zagreb.

Food is good, hence the reason I went there. Just sad that this service issue will prevent me from supporting them...

I was waiting in the line like everybody else and when the gentleman right in front of me moved towards the section he is going to order from, I have followed since I was also planning to order those items. (The counter has an L shape.) After the gentleman has paid and left, I kept on waiting but no one has acknowledged my existence. Then the woman behind the counter told me that there was only one line, so I had to get into the line. I told her that I was already there and now it was my turn, and she replied "okay, i didn't see you". I thought that this meant she was going to take my order but no, she insisted on ignoring me and helping the people that were behind. So I left. I have never seen such a rude treatment anywhere else. This Croatian chain uses high quality ingredients and has a selection heavily inspired by their Croatian heritage. I was first drawn in by their (cheap but perfect) pizza slice and I am now working my way through the menu.

Today I made a dent with the following Borek = Perfect Apricot Croissant = To die for. Bacon Corn Bread twist = Savoury perfection Vegetable Cheese Toast = Perfect

This time I went with the classics but Dubravica’s unique selection is something I will keep returning for.
