If you are a tourist reading this review, please do not stop at this establishment. Don't be fooled by the great location, the food is sub par and the service was even worse.
We sat down as a table of six at 2pm, with less than half the tables in the restaurant occupied. I found myself staring at 5 wait staff socialising inside for 10 minutes before waving one to take our order, only to be told that someone will be with us in a moment. After having our order taken, it then took over half an hour before our food arrived.
We ordered corn chips and dip, fries, calamari rings, 2x Greek Salads, a club sandwich and a pizza.
I was willing to accept the high price for food and drink as this place was in the heart of Old Town Dubrovnik, however the acceptance disappeared when the food arrived. Store bought corn chips, cold fries, Greek Salad was average, pizza was underwhelming, and a club sandwich more dry than a politicians sense of humour.
After an overpriced and unsatisfying meal, the wait staff didn't ask us about the meal or clear our tables. Once again, I had to wave to one of the many waiters that were leaning on the bar chatting to each other.
What made this worse was the table adjacent to us was an older couple who had been waiting to be served since our food arrived, and they were not addressed even after we asked for our bill, paid, and left.

Read moreI’ve been to this bar with my friends twice and both times we have been reserved a very poor treatment.
The first time we wanted to sit for a drink after dinner and we were escorted to a table until we were told (after waiting for 5 minutes) that we could not order since they were closing. Total non sense as they had escorted us to the table only some minutes before. This without even apologizing and looking at people around who were instead ordering. Rude and impolite.
Two days later we returned to the same place in the morning for breakfast. We asked the very low-tone “welcome” lady (before sitting) if there were any vegan options and we received a sonore “No, we haven’t any vegan option”. Nevertheless we decided to have a coffee and drinks only and we were escorted to the first row of tables (the closest to the promenade in the Stradun) until, at the time of the order, we were forced to move to the second row of tables as the first raw was apparently reserved to only breakfast-eater customers. The male waiter was also not polite in inviting us to move, as they could not offer us any vegan option, not even a croissant, in 2024. Overall a nice place due to its very central position but staff was incompetent and rude, I suggest them to put some more effort in relying on more competent staff in order to lift their score. We’re not going back to this...
Read moreTerrible service! We were met at the front of the cafe by two girls with terribly arrogant attitudes. After being seated we were served two burgers and beers. The beers were extremely thin and tasted liked nothing. The burgers were boring, consisting of only salat, tomato and “meat”. The beef’s were clearly just the cheapest readymade “meat”. It was so bad that we couldn’t even finish. The fries tasted like cardboard…. After eating we just wanted to pay and leave. After paying we noticed that it suddenly was 5 euro furthermore. When we asked what the 5 euros was, they just brushed of us and tried to give us only a receipt where we couldn’t see much, but after insisting and seeing the receipt we saw that they had taken 5 euro as tip for themselves…We told them that they couldn’t just take a tip without asking, and the just replied “That’s just how we do in Croatia” Which is not true, because we’ve been here for two weeks and no one does that. We got angry that they tried to trick us, and had to insist to get our money back, after 4 employees stood in the door blocking us and trying to convince us....
