If I could rate Edem's Yard in Larnaca with more than 5 stars I would! In my opinion it is hands down the best brunch spot in Nicosia and a must visit for brunch lovers.
First of all the vibe and interior is very nice. Tucked away in a charming courtyard, it combines a relaxed atmosphere with a menu that is both creative and delicious.
The menu at Edem's Yard offers brunch classics with a twist, offering dishes that are beautifully presented and flavorful. The highlight and personal favorite from the savory options is the Brunshaw. A slightly sweet and delicious bagel, cream cheese, avocado, bacon and fried egg is the perfect combination and simply delicious! What I like about it is that you van customize it as you wish and I like to add hallumi and scrambled eggs. Other dishes that I really like are the monte cristo french toast and the cheezy.
It will be an omission not to mention their great variety of desserts. You can customize your own pancakes but if you ever go and you like lotus and white chocolate get the Lotus pancakes. Is one of the best Pancakes I have ever had.
Each weekend they offer a savory or sweet special dish and most of them are super unique, creative and mouthwatering. One of the best was the knufe and I am eagerly waiting for them to bring it back.
The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the welcoming vibe of the place. Also the service is super efficient and the dishes usually come out in less than 10 minutes.
It can get busy, especially on weekends and you might have to wait more than an hour, but the overall experience is well worth it.
One downside that I have to mention is that the prices have gone way up lately. I have been visiting the restaurant way before it got so famous and the dishes have almost doubled in price.
If you’re in Larnaca and looking for a nice brunch spot with great food and a laid-back atmosphere, Edem's Yard should be at the top...

During my recent visit to Cyprus, I was fortunate enough to stumble upon a remarkable culinary hideaway - Edem's Yard. Nestled closely to the serene beach on Evagora Pieridi Street, this restaurant is a delightful discovery that stands as a testament to the vibrant and inviting Cypriot hospitality.
The first thing that caught my attention was the punctuality. Opening their doors sharply on time, they set a tone of professionalism that only amplified the anticipation of the meal to come. This is matched with an impressive setting that caters to every mood - whether it is the inviting warmth of their indoor arrangement or the tranquillity offered by their outdoor seating that was nothing short of enchanting.
Upon entering, one is greeted by the friendly and courteous staff who exude a welcoming vibe. Their kindness and eagerness to assist only further elevated the dining experience.
The menu, albeit simple, is a culinary tapestry that caters to every palate. From children to elder diners, there's something delightful for everyone. Each dish we tried was an exceptional showcase of culinary craftsmanship, leaving us eager to explore more of their offerings. The drinks, too, were fantastic, complementing the meals perfectly.
The ambience of Edem's Yard exudes a charm that is both captivating and relaxing. The warm, pleasant atmosphere is inviting to all age groups, creating a space where every diner can enjoy their time.
It is no exaggeration to say that Edem's Yard has become one of my favourite spots in Cyprus. The beautiful blend of excellent food, great service, and lovely atmosphere make it a must-visit location. I will, without a doubt, be making a return visit to this hidden gem during my next stay. Whether you're a local or a tourist, do yourself a favour and indulge in the delightful experience that Edem's Yard...

Though off the main path, expect a wait when you arrive at Edem's as it's aa popular as ever. Don't be put off by the queues though, as Edem's yard is worth the wait.
With indoor and outdoor garden seating, this hidden gem feels like nothing else on the island.
The staff are extremely accommodating and will even have a laugh and joke about your order if you're not quite sure of what to have. If you fancy being creative, then let your server know and have them bring you something unique. A great touch was the fact that the sides I ordered were actually cooked into my main meal rather than being placed on the side to sit there looking lonely.
The selection of food and drink is fantastic and again, quite anomalous for the island, which personally I found refreshing. If you fancy a healthy smoothy or even you're regular drink, you're sure to find an impressive version of it at Edem's yard.
The reason I had to give four stars instead of five was not based on any of the above, but based on the fact that by the end of the meal, you may feel a little queasy from the richness. When the food arrives, make no mistake, it will look and taste unbelievable, but by the end of our meal, my four friends and I all felt the food was a little too rich. Perhaps if the portion was smaller, or less butter or syrup etc was used, this could be a perfect meal with a five star rating, but as it stands, it will remain as my highest rated four star review.
I highly recommend Edem's yard for at least one visit, but couldn't imagine eating here on consecutive days due to the richness of the food.
Now go tell your friends you know about a special place that they'll just love, and enjoy...
