JB Steakhouse — Restaurant in okres České Budějovice

A surprisingly good experience. The restaurant is like a small club with limited access, you have to get on into a building and alongside the long corridor. The inside is cosy place. Waitresses are kind. Reservation is a must, as there are 7-8 tables only. We didn't have so should sit at the bar, waiting for table but eventually we were able to eat there and it was comfortable, too. The menu is quite wide and the steak possibilities are extreme. Dishes served nicely portions are perfect and all are tasty and spiced properly. Toilets are also clean and well equipped. Rarely giving 5 stars to a place but...

Zdravím, tuto restauraci navštěvuji dá se říct pravidelně. Mohu jí vřele doporučit všem, kteří mají rádi dobré pití, jídlo, steaky a hlavně milou a ochotnou obsluhu. Navštívil jsem ji dokonce i včera. Nedal jsem si nic velkého. Pouze jedno pivo, a hovězí carpaccio. Samozřejmě vše bez problémů.

Docela jsem se nudil tak jsem si přečetl místní recenze. A nestačil jsem se divit😦. Pán tady psal že steaky byly nedopečené. Jelikož chtěl medium ale z kuchyně prý dostal “rare’’. Musím říct, že taková chyba se může stát (v této restauraci není ale vůbec častá). Ale udivilo mě že pán obsluze nic neřekl. Pokaždé co jsem v této restauraci byl tak se mě byla obsluha během jídla minimálně jednou ptát jestli je vše ok atd. No jo, jak se říká líbá huba, holý neštěstí.

Poté bych chtěl zmínit pana Pavla Sebestu (zakomplexovaný pán podemnou). Který udělil 1 hvězdu za to, že restaurace prostě byla zarezervovaná. Opravdu nechápu jak to chodí u něj v kraji. Ale hádám, že když je stůl zarezervovaný tak pan Sebesta přijde, přečte cedulku “reserve”. Takže jí vezme a prostě jí zahodí a zasedne za stůl. Dle mě si pan Sebesta chtěl jen něco vykompenzovat (zřejmě zakrnělý přirození) a nebo si jen nahnat ego. Myslím, že nikoho tady ani nezajímá kolik pan Sebesta nechal v nedaleké restauraci Budvarka. Ale i přesto musím zmínit, že je dost možné, že by útrata v JB Steakhouse byla vyšší jelikož je to luxusní restaurace a ne nějaká putyka. Nic jste si tu nedal tudíž nesuďte jestli to stojí za to...

We’d booked a table for 20:30 on a Saturday evening. When we showed up the restaurant was closed. Tried to call them several times without an answer.
