Pizzeria Da Pietro — Restaurant in okres Plzeň-město

Super poor service. Food came out individually with at least 10-15 minutes between plates. We ate one by one like some weird ritual. Last plate of pizza came well over an an hour after the first, and they completely forgot to make one of our orders. None of us got to eat together, and we asked multiple times about our food and the staff didn’t seem to care much. When we asked for some sort of compensation or acknowledgment, given we were at this place for nearly two hours with incompetent service, they couldn’t care less whether we lived or died. No apologies or explanation, like it was completely normal for all of us to eat one by one and for some of us to not get their food at all. We had to take the last (forgotten) pizza to go because we had run out of time for our friend to eat it, they gave no bag just a whisper of tinfoil.

Although the pizza is good, it was a very disappointing experience we had about a week ago. My boyfriend and I sat at the terrace, who was far from full, and we had to wait about 15min despite calling the different waiters multiple times for them to bring us the menus. Then, we waited, and waited, and waited, before deciding to leave after 35 minutes. Of course we tried to get our orders taken but we seemed to have been « forgotten » by the staff. We stayed a total of 50min, wasted. It was then so late that we almost couldn’t eat outside for that evening. Luckily we found a very pleasant restaurant not so far that accepted us (we were their last orders). We knew they had long waiting time as we ate there probably like 4 times already, but this time it was way too much for us to accept. To resume, 2 stars because the food is nice, but the waiting time was just aweful. We don’t know if we will give it another try. Please, remind your staff not to forget...

I wanted to absolutely love this place! I read about it, heard about it from some locals, and even in some blogs. Unfortunately, this place just fell short. For starters, the customer service was a bit lacking. After waiting about 10 minutes for a table to open up (which is fine), we hard a hard time getting pizza because we were on the grill side of outdoor dining area, despite the fact that the server had just brought the people sitting next to us pizzas. So, we ordered a burger with the waitress and had to physically get up and go inside the store to order the pizza. The burger was absolutely ordinary at best. It was a bit bland for my liking, but others said the same thing. The fries were really good though! When we finally got out pizza, it was also lacking. The dough was soggy in the middle, which caused the pizza to pretty much fall apart when you try to slice and eat it. All in all, this place certainly didn't live up to the hype and was...
