Restaurace Žumbera — Restaurant in okres Plzeň-město

Very nice restaurant with an even nicer beer garden in the backyard. The waiters were really friendly and courteous. The menu offers mostly traditional czech food but not only the typical guláš and svíčková. Of course they have burgers as well. The food itself was very tasty and seemed like of good quality to me. Me and my friends all enjoyed our dishes very much. In my opinion the prices are very reasonable. Converted to Euros we didn‘t even pay 50€ for three main dishes, a starter and a couple of drinks which I think is absolutely good!

This is by far the best place for bohemian kitchen in Pilsen and maybe one of the best restaurants in the region if you are looking for local food. The dishes are excellent, the portions are really huge and the prices are below average. A main couse, sides/desert and 2-3 beer will cost you round about 500 crowns (20 Euro). Service was great. Nice restaurant and cheerful inner garden for eating. We get two pils, whatever in Pilsen, and tried as intro sausage with spicy tomato sauce pepper and onion. Then we got a beef dish, extremely sweet, the presence of jam, whipped cream and lemon I guess too strong flavour. Good the goulash with garlic vibed spinach. After all....
