OMG this food was SO good. I had the best tom yum I have ever tasted and a chicken teriyaki that was elevated and delicious. The owner was a fantastic host: solicitous, friendly, and pleasant. The experience was special.
The place is Mongolian, but it really is Asian fusion. I have been known to judge a Thai restaurant by its tom yum goong (like, if it's not good, I'd never go to the restaurant again), but this soup was definitely FIVE STAR. They make it with just the right amount of spice and complementary flavors. Yum for sure!
The chicken in the teriyaki was cooked perfectly. It still had a crispness (I don't usually get that in teriyaki) and the sauce was not thick and sticky. It was just delicious.
I cannot recommend this place enough. I wish I was going back to Prague tomorrow! I will surely go to Baigali whenever I DO go back. Right away!
It's a small place, so if you want to try it, aim to go before or after rush hours. You will not regret it.
PS I almost forgot to take a picture of my teriyaki, I was so hungry! My boyfriend had a beautiful and delicious poke bowl. :-)
PPS I don't know how much it cost, as I was taken here by a Czech local, and...
Read moreAbsolutely divine. Me and my girlfriend reserved a table for her birthday. Location is very quiet and charming. The place is small, cozy and maintains impeccable and tranquile atmosphere. We were serviced by the owner (I assume) with his awesome traditional Mongolian hat. He was very sweet, very nice and had very funny quips. He spoke both english and czech. We ordered miso soup, different sets of sushi and homemade ice tea. I have to say for both me and my girlfriend, absolutely everything was incredible. Especially the Sushi. The green ice tea maybe lacking in strong flavor but I actually liked it because it wasn't too sweet. I was suspicious of this restaurant's rating being this consistently high but once I visited it all makes perfect sense now. Recommended, not expensive and we will be...
Read moreIt's sooo nice here! We were served by the owner itself and the service was on the highest level!
I've tried the mongolian cuisine for the first time and I love it very much 😍
The size of the servings are just ideal and I find the price is a little too low for that amount of delicious, high quality food.
I really like when owners put so much effort into their restorations. It really pays off.
I will definitely go here again, can't wait to try out some more. I was intrigued by the description of the dessert, but I didn't really have any place for it. I want to try it next...
