Café Lajka — Restaurant in Prague

I had a beer (10 plato - desitka), and sample of the Rye IPA. Both really nice. Fair prices (27/38 kc for the desitka), definitely good value for price. Friendly and easy-going barmen. They speak English. I wish they had more beers on tap. although 4 is quite ok. Apart from that, the IPA would have a better feel if it were colder, though the temperature of the lager 10 plato was the right one. As the keg cooler can't chill at different temperatures for each beer, I'd suggest to offer the IPA's...

Really like this place. Lovely art deco frontage leads to a plain interior with an offbeat atmosphere, more cafe than bar but the beer is very good indeed and deserves a wider audience. Staff are young and efficient, English spoken well. Overall this is one of Prague's lesser known beer places which anyone into craft beer visiting Prague should put on...

Was extremely happy and surprised to find one of my favourite dishes here - pelmeni. We were visiting Lajka on Sat late afternoon-early evening - it was at least half empty, so we've chosen the best sits near the huge window. The staff is very friendly, dishes are cooked fast, and in the end of your visit you can also purchase bottles of Lajka...
