Istanbul Kebab — Restaurant in Prague

Unfortunately I am a frequent customer of this place because I liked some of the daily dishes but sadly today I experienced something unprecedented. I recommended this place to my friend and when he actually came to the place. He was overcharged because he seemed totally new to the place and even though I was walking him around the menu and explaining everything to him. The moment I turned away to put the tea we asked for on the table. They suddenly overcharged him with over 100 crowns claiming it’s a “payment” for a large tea. My other friend tried to talk to him and the man servicing us said it costs 20 crowns. I went and tried to talk to him as well and then he said the big tea costs 30 crowns. Which doesn’t event add up to the bill my other friend was charged. When I argued that I was there the day before and had the same exact tea for sure, he answered in a very incoherent tone that “this is Istanbul kebab policy”. Tea is almost always complimentary in every Turkish restaurant because it’s part of the Turkish culture and Middle Eastern culture overall. Unfortunately the restaurant workers showed dishonesty and fraudulent behaviour to someone who was clearly new to the place, a guest. And what’s worse is that I used to come here so many times on the regular for months but after this incident I will definitely discourage all my friends especially the ones who come regularly here. No one should be scammed regardless of their appearance, language, or color. I would never come back to them. Also worth noting that note all of their menu is worth ordering from. Čeština, Přijela jsem a jedla pár, jestli už tady už byla, služba byla v pořádku a v pořádku, jídlo bylo dobré, ne super kvalita. Mohu říct něco drahého s ohledem na kvalitu.

Ale šokující věc dnes byla, že jsem dostal dlouhé vlasy uvnitř maso míč v zeleninové a maso kuličky talíř. Způsob, jakým se vyrovnávají se situací, byl velmi arogantní, snažili se mi nabídnout tentýž talíř znovu, jako vážně ?! Požádal jsem o Donera Dürüm místo toho, aby to udělal, když je nešťastný, a snažil se ignorovat, že jsem zaplatil 190 za talíř s Ayranem předtím a Doner Dürüm s ayranem by měl být 140. Ale já jsem ho požádal, aby vrátil rozdíl

Zde vidíte, že nepůsobí dobře, aby udrželi klienta, měli by se přinejmenším nabídnout, že zaplatí celý účet, hanebně to neudělali, i když i kdyby to možná neuznali, protože se to stalo, tak jeho nikoliv konec světa, ale způsob, jak se s takovou situací vypořádat, byl od nich velmi špatný, protože jsem věděl, že jsem mohl povolat úřady a dát jim problémy.

English, I came and ate a couple if times here already, the service was fine and ok, food was good, not super quality. I can say somehow expensive with respect to quality.

BUT the shocking thing today, was that i got a a long hair inside the meat ball in the vegetable and meat balls platter. The way they deal with the situation was very arrogant, they tried offering me that same plate again, like seriously?! I asked for Doner Dürüm instead, so he made it while he is unhappy, and tried to disregard that i paid 190 for the platter with Ayran before and the Doner Dürüm with the ayran should be 140. But i asked him to give back the difference

Here you can see that they do not act well to keep the client, they should have at least offered to pay back the whole bill, shamefully they did not, although even if they did i might not have accepted that because it happens, so its not the end of the world, but the way to deal with such situation was very bad from them, knowing that i could have called the authorities and put them in trouble.

Türkçe, Geldim ve birkaç kez burada yedim bile, servis gayet iyi ve fena değildi, yemekler iyi değil, süper kalitede. Kalite açısından bir şekilde pahalı diyebilirim.

Fakat bugün şok edici olan şey, sebze ve köfte tabağındaki et topunun içinde uzun bir saçım olmasıydı. Durumla başa çıkma şekli çok kibirliydi, bana yine aynı tabak gibi ciddiyetle sunmaya çalıştılar ?! Bunun yerine Döner Dürüm'ü istedim, bu yüzden mutsuzken yaptı ve daha önce Ayran'la tabağa 190 verdiğimden ve Ayran'la Doner Dürüm'ün 140 olması gerektiğini ihmal etmeye çalıştı.

Burada müşteriyi korumak için iyi davranmadıklarını görebilirsiniz, en azından tüm faturayı geri ödemeyi teklif etmeliydiler, utanç vermediler, ancak yapsalar bile kabul etmedim çünkü dünyanın sonu değil, ancak böyle bir durumla başa çıkmanın yolu, yetkilileri çağırabileceğimi ve başlarını belaya sokabileceğimi bilmek onlardan...

We ordered Adana kebab and Iskander kebab .

I ate these foods in Istanbul city so I had some idea about the real taste of them.

Iskander kebab (150 kc) was so cold and therefore didn't taste good. Specially cause it contains fats.

Adana kebab (180 kc) was hard to chew and the taste was tooooo far from the real taste of Adana kebab which you can eat in turkey .

The rice which came with Adana kebab wasn't tasty at all and it was too cold as well , But there was some eggplants that they were good.

Summary is we paid 150+180+30(drink)=380

And we felt so sorry cause we could choose many other restaurants and Better options.
