When I made the reservation through Google reservation I did not know it was only for an hour. Nowhere in the reservation it said it is limited - it only gave me an option to make a reservation for a specific time but not the duration. This caused a very akward encounter with the waiter when he came to our table and told us we have to leave because there is another reservation for our table. When I told him I also made the reservation for this table he showed me a paper where is said I only booked it for an hour which I was not aware of. Next time I will just call the place directly and make sure I will not be kicked out after an hour. After this experience I do NOT recommend making a reservation through Goofle reservation!
Now about the restaurant: This was my third and also the worst visit at Las Adelitas but my first at this address. The first impression was nice. The waiter came shortly after we arrived but that was it. After that, we had to pretty much always call somebody to our table to take the orders. The place was not that full for them not to come to us more often. We were gonna stay there the whole night and have drinks but that did not happen because of the reservation mistake by Google and also because nobody really came to ask how everything is or if we need anything. Our empty plates were sitting on the table for at least 20min and when somebody finally came they did not even ask if we want anything else. The food was ok but nothing special - I had better burrito at other restaurants. The final straw for me was when they told us we have to leave they did not even bother to come to us so we could pay at the table - we had to come to them! And finally my "favorite" part, when the waiter pulled out the terminal he pointed at the display and asked how big of a tip I would like to leave and it went from 10% and up. He did not ask if I would like to leave a tip but HOW MUCH? After this whole experience I was not gonna leave any tip. This gave me such an American style tipping vibe and it made me very angry. Do you not pay your waiters accurate wages? I ended up leaving the 10% and I regret it to this day. In this country you leave a tip if you are satisfied with the service and you decide how much you leave not the other way. Overall - I can for sure say this was my last visit at this address and probably my last visit at Las Adelitas for a very long time. I was always recommending Las Adelitas to my friends and family but that...
Read moreYesterday we visited this restaurant. We were a group of four. First of all, toilets were super dirty and without any hand soap. For me this is ridiculous for the restaurant with such prices. Service was awful too. Server toke our order quite quickly but after 20 !! mins of waiting he came and said that one dish is over and we need to chose smt else. After our drinks and dishes were on our table we had not seen our server, he just disappeared. We very unsatisfied with one dish that we ordered. The meat and the whole dish was super dry and did not tasty at all. We said about that to one waitress and she just replied with: "give me a sec". Of course she did not come back. When we finally caught our waiter and explain to him that something is wrong with our dish, he said: "YOU WANT ME TO PUT THIS IN MICROWAVE". Like what??? And on the top of that, when we were ready to pay and opened their online paying system, we were shocked to see that in our bill there were still that dish about our server told us in the beginning, that one dish that were out of stock. We did not managed to find our server, he was completely gone.
And cherry on top, I got food poisoning or infection today morning. I do not know was it because of my personal intolerance, was it because food in this restaurant is not fresh or was it because I get this infection because there were no soap in the bathroom.
Not recommend to visit this...
Read moreWhile the food and drinks are very nice, some of the staff isn’t. My husband and I visited recently and ordered our food, he doesn’t eat cheese so we asked for a burrito without cheese, 15 minutes later they said they can’t make it without cheese, fair enough. He then ordered bistec tacos instead, and the waiter even repeated the order back to us as confirmation and he said “bistec” (we’ve had them there before and they were nice), then a different waiter brings chicken tacos and the waiter that sent our order insists my husband said “pollo” instead of bistec, he even showed us the ticket from the kitchen with the food order, and insisted to us that that was what we ordered (with a rude attitude) but that wasn’t what my husband ordered, so we asked for the bistec tacos again, which he brought to us. Then when we asked for the bill, the waiter pressured for a tip, which I left to avoid any awkward moment, but I don’t think that’s very nice. That’s the second time we visit there and we are given something we didn’t order, and the staff are very unhelpful about it. This time we also were not given cutlery for our food until we asked for it and the waiter didn’t...
