The view from Panorama Bar is absolutely breathtaking – the place has an incredible atmosphere and huge potential. Sadly, the overall experience was ruined by dishonest service.

I ordered an Aperol and some peanuts. According to the menu: Aperol 179k, peanuts 99k – total 278k. But my card was charged 350k. I wasn’t given a receipt, and no one informed me about any additional charges. I was in a rush to catch a train, so I tapped my card without double-checking – my mistake, but still no excuse for the lack of transparency.

That’s about 26% more than what I actually ordered. Maybe some kind of service charge was added, but I was never told, and there was no option to approve or decline it. That’s simply dishonest.

Prices are already quite high – even by Prague standards – so silently adding a hefty tip is just unacceptable.

To make things worse, the glasses were dirty and the tables weren’t clean either, which didn’t match the “luxury view” vibe they’re clearly aiming for.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this time I feel it’s necessary to warn others. The place could be amazing – but honesty and basic cleanliness...

We read great reviews on Google so when it came time to visit we were very excited! First thing to note is that the hotel requires you to buy vouchers which cost 200Kronas per person and include a drink (champagne / coffee / juice) to access the restaurant and the view. So head to reception to get that first upon arrival.

We were served by Aleks (Alex?) and he was FANTASTIC! Took great care of us, very attentive. Excellent recommendations, and great small talk that made us sad to leave when it was time to continue our journey!

Also, the views are fantastic! If taking pictures, we recommend facing towards the Church of Tyn.

Thank you and...

This place has huge potential - one of the best view in Prague, but the offer doesn't stand up to expectations (like cheap Pickwick tea from Lidl served for 65 czk). No beer from tap, description of wine limited to red/white (so again, that's probably cheap, supermarket wine). The terrace itself could use some care (like the surrounding glasses are a bit shattered, chairs a bit rusty, some trash laying around). Music choice pretty basic - blasting radio Kiss from the speakers. So at this moment, you pay just...
