L'Osteria - Masaryčka — Restaurant in Prague

I had a lovely evening at L’Osteria, and it certainly lived up to the recommendation from my coworkers.

Here's what I had the pleasure of enjoying:

Non-Alcoholic Crodino – Due to personal reasons, I’ve cut back on alcohol, and this Crodino with orange juice absolutely hit the spot. A refreshing and delightful aperitif.

Beef Carpaccio – I usually start with either a beef tartare or a carpaccio, and this one did not disappoint. Very much enjoyed it.

Orecchiette Pasta – This was a new choice for me. I'm not sure if the recipe is traditional or inspired by Italian roots, but either way, calling it anything less than lovely would be a lie from my behalf. It was delicious.

Dessert (Strawberry-based) – I opted for something simple. While I had mixed feelings personally, I’d still recommend it to anyone with a sweet tooth who enjoys fresh strawberries.

The overall atmosphere felt comfortable and welcoming.

My biggest compliments go to the waiter staff, especially Ms. Valentyna—very professional, attentive, and above all, kind!

After 3 visits, I can confidently say that the food quality has always been consistently good. From appetizers to the main to dessert, I was satisfied. Servers were friendly, were always ready to assist, and we got our drinks and food all at the same time. I didn't have high expectations for the seafood given the country we're in, but the prawns in zoodles were fairly fresh and still had a good bite to it. The sauce was not too spicy but was seasoned just right. I hope to see more zoodles varieties in the future. Crayfish pasta is a must for those who miss seafood or visiting for the first time. The comforting creamy sauce goes so well as it hugs the pasta and protein together. Buratta and tiramisu were spot on, you can tell the quality of an Italian restaurant from these basic dishes. I would like to give special recognition to the employee Mikhail — he is a true professional!

From the very beginning, he greeted us with a warm smile, helped us choose dishes, and described each item on the menu so vividly that we wanted to try everything. His attitude toward customers is beyond praise: polite, attentive, always nearby but never intrusive.

What impressed me most was his ability to anticipate our needs — it felt like he knew exactly when to come over and when to let us enjoy our time. The entire service was smooth and pleasant, which greatly enhanced our overall impression of the place.

Employees like Mikhail are a rare find. Thanks to him, we definitely want to come back again.
