Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Bland Food

We visited this restaurant for a quick dinner as we were short on time. Despite the place being almost empty, the hostess seated us at a table in the middle of the walkway, insisting that a lot of people would arrive soon. However, by the time we finished our meal, only four other guests had arrived, and the restaurant remained mostly empty.

We ordered the chicken supreme, which was served raw. They took it back to finish cooking, but we didn’t have much time to wait. The waiter simply said, "Sorry". When the dish finally came back, it was bland—just plain chicken with no real seasoning. The pea purée was nothing more than mashed peas with no added flavor.

When the waitress asked if we liked the food, we replied, "So-so." She then took our plates, went to the kitchen, and started mocking us, repeating our words to the chef in a sarcastic tone.

The beef tenderloin was excellent, I’m a meat lover & I love to find the best meat places especially tenderloin which I’d like either medium rare or rare, for this I chose medium rare but it was more towards the rare side, great since the meat was excellent!! I’m a tourist here, the hotel is close by & I chose this place spontaneously by the great reviews online, funnily I was walking to another restaurant close by that I found online but this one looked great with ppl sitting on the sidewalk, very local restaurant, great service etc. I rarely set reviews online but this time I just have to. Best restaurant in this district! Very very good! We had the burger, tenderloin & the apple pie for dessert! Excellent! Red wine & beer also perfect & I’m a beer lover, has to be draft beer, not stale, fresh taste, the only complaint would be that there was only normal cutlery, no steak knife since I ordered the steak so rare it would be nice with a steak knife, but that’s all I could ever complain about!
