I've been to this place many times and I always appreciate it, nice beer, nice place. Yesterday me and a group of friends went there around 23.30, around the closing time. We asked if we could sit, and they said that we could order one beer, asking us immediately and bringing us all the same beer, without letting us choose. Fine, we didn't complain. (The place was packed with people also, we were not the only ones at all) We are very chill people, I can assure you, and we did nothing wrong at all, we were respectful and polite. Many young waiters are nice and do amazing job there, but this guy, slightly older and probably a manager of something (he was directing other employees) did not like us from the first minute, for some reason. It was ugly and humiliating, he started to rant in Czech (which nobody in our group could understand) about our nationality, and clearly he was insulting us, while communicating "normally in English" After we said that we would have liked to pay separately, he started to act violently, kicking things when he thought we could not see him and insulting us even more, straight to our faces, but in Czech. That was an humiliating and sour experience, we felt discriminated without a real reason and I feel sorry for other employees in the place that have to co exist...

I recently visited Vinohradský Pivovar with a group of friends and unfortunately, our experience was less than satisfactory. We arrived 30 minutes early to enjoy some beers and ordered a total of 8 beers. Surprisingly, half of them were served in takeaway cups while the other half came in normal glasses. This inconsistency was quite disappointing and detracted from the overall experience.

Additionally, the service we received from the mid-aged gentleman behind the bar was far from friendly. His attitude was impolite and lacked the welcoming spirit we were hoping for in such a renowned establishment.

While the beer itself was good, the service and presentation left much to be desired. I hope the management can address these issues to improve future customer...

We did not realize that this brewery was only 5 minutes from our hotel...walking that is. Very friendly staff. Waitress was accommodating and very happy to help our choices. Catching on with a little of the language but she was there to help. Absolutely, drop dead delicious, creative and well prepared food. I had grilled pork tenderloin with a gorgonzola and mushroom cream sauce- incredible. My wife had the salad with fried chicken with Parmesan wafers, again fantastic. Beers, gose and then a NEIPA. Coming from New England they nailed it. Great job to everyone there. Highly recommend this place. What I find with food at breweries is that they are creative, inexpensive, well prepaired and delicious. Have not been there? Go, treat yourself without paying a...

This place hit all the right buttons for me. Upstairs has a lovely design, it's sparsely decorated but it feels surprisingly cozy, the kind of place where you want to become a regular customer. And there seems to be a few of those, many tables were reserved for the evening. Service was friendly and efficient. 4 beers were on tap. Two blonde lagers (11° and 12°), an amber and an APA. Tried the amber first, it was delightful, just perfect balance. I then went for the 11°, and after the first sip, immediately regretted taking the small portion. It was the most sessionable, pound-worthy beer I've had so far in Prague. This is the beer I'm gonna think about when I'm remembering Czech beers. This place is a must if you're a beer geek. Seriously.

Friends were in town and we were looking for something specific (venison) to eat. Everyone has been posting about this Venison Svíčková lately and it looked delicious so we thought it would be a good place to try and to take our friends. It was great! The staff was very friendly, we were able to get reservations for 8 people just 48 hrs in advance. The Beer was good, Svíčková was tender, although the dumplings were very dense, I was happy to have a 7yr old who wanted one of them. The schnitzel was also good and the potato salad was different than you would normally find in Prague. I liked it- not 7yr old approved 😂.
