My family and I visited Prague for a few days in early October 2022 and was very much looking forward to trying out Vietnamese food since we learned about the large Vietnamese population there. We are big fans of the cuisine and are lucky to be exposed to Vietnamese food in the San Francisco Bay Area and Southern California (including Little Saigon, home to the largest Vietnamese diaspora outside of Vietnam). We came across Ca Phe Co on our Google map search and found that it received a 100% recommendation, so we decided to give it a try. Hands down - it was the best Vietnamese food we had among the four places that we tried during our visit - and dare I say - one of the best Vietnamese food we've had in many years. To say it rivals Little Saigon in Southern California is something alright, but completely warranted. The fried spring rolls were crispy and not overly stuffed, while the chicken noodle pho was tasty and comforting. We enjoyed our lunch there so much that we returned four hours later to grab dinner (feeling a bit embarrassed about returning so soon, but thrilled to eat there again). Between our two meals, we tried about 10 items on the menu and found them all delightful. I loved the homemade lemonade - lychee so much that I ordered a pitcher for myself during dinner. Our dining experience was made even more satisfying because of the excellent service, especially from Anny, who chatted with us about her family's presence in Prague; she was attentive, friendly, and personal. Read moreAfter visiting numerous times, we have decided that the food is really inconsistent. For example, tonight the duck I ordered for takeout was missing the sauce. The fried rolls were half the size as usual. The food is sometimes great, sometimes really disappointing. We were also charged 100 crowns more on an order we called in, and after getting home without a receipt, realized the fact. When we order for 2 people, we get charged 15 czk each for 5 separate boxes and also charged for a bag.
We love the original restaurant in Brno, and were super excited when it opened just down the street from us in Prague. The staff are always really nice, and the restaurant is lovely. Really wish that the food would get better and I wouldn’t feel like I was being ripped off for...
Read moreMy favorite restaurant in Prague.
The atmosphere is super cozy and elegant. Staff is very friendly and they were careful to to follow our instructions due to food allergies. They are also very kind, respectful and friendly.
They have open kitchen concept so you can basically see while they are preparing your food which is literally amazing.
You can taste all the flavors of the cuisine in a very delicate way, and you will be very satisfied.
I highly recommend the chicken wings starter option.
Prices are reasonable for the amount of food served.
It’s my go to for any special occasion because I know they will never disappoint me and also it’s very quiet which make the place amazing for...
