A reliable pub in the neighborhood. Food is cooked well, and they have quite many options in the menu (in the photo, you may see the ribs and a burger chosen by a friend). The service was not great a few years ago, but it got better and better throughout the time. During my last visit, I was really pleased with the attendance of a polite and English-speaking waitress. You don't go there for the atmosphere, so I can't rate that. It's the place you go for lunch break or dinner with your beer friends if you are near Flora or JZP. Talking about drinks, they have a good fresh tap beer. There are not too many options for wine, but the few available are not bad choices. On top of that, the prices for drinks...

My 5 stars basically for the waiter. I was disappointed* when he told me they were out of unfiltered Urquell, and I got a bit edgy and impertinent with him (sorry for that).. cause they had this beer written on the blackboard and on their online media... but he was really patient, friendly and sympathetic... we had an interesting chat about beer in the end. Such a cool guy!

• Disappointed mainly cause April and October are the only months you can drink unfiltered Urquell in other cities away from Pilsen. They can even drink it in other countries (Sweden, USA, etc) all year long! ...

This is a typical pub for Czech Republic. There's not a lot of room, due to the high amount of tables and they are also not very comfortable for long sitting.

The amount of food you'll get for the prices there, is really fair! It's a great place to have lunch at. Sometimes it's quite salty, but sometimes it's really worth the value. The service is great and they accept card payment.
