I just want to say thank you to your kind professionalism and consistency in that. Today we had an excellent experience in your restaurant. We came with a big appetite and ordered several dishes from the menu. Packed something for take away and I decided to have a dessert. I really wanted Makovec and there wasn’t one in the menu . I shared with the waitress anyways that I wanted Makovec and then magic happened. She called the kitchen and asked how many we want. Honestly it felt like pure magic. When you really want something so bad and the personnel goes beyond and arranges you that quickly and effortlessly. We felt so safe and welcome as if we were visiting our grandmother when magic happens and out of nowhere you get Makovec. i know we should have drunk more beers 😆 but honestly our aim was food, and for both i recommend the place a lot! you can see locals but also tourists as it's a great place for tasty czech food. as you can see i didn't manage pictures before things were getting eaten. the tartar with fried bread is great and the sauce for the braised pork also a real delight! just a small note to maybe explain the type of dumplings accompanied the dish in the english menu but if you ask the staff they will for sure explain (the menu just says dumplings). other than that - great atmosphere - the staff was very kind to look for a table for us (was full) so we decided to stay on the side with great beer they have and no more than 20 mins we had it. if you don't wanna wait i recommend coming later hours like 8pm. the staff is very polite and english speaking....

I loved this restaurant so much I went twice in my very short stay in Prague. They were very accommodating, there was a sudden heavy rain and they worked fast to ensure everyone in the terrace could keep eating inside. It was my very first time eating traditional food and it was so good. The bread dumplings and the sauces were incredible, makes me not want to pay attention to the meat even (although it was perfect too!).

Prices are very affordable. However, I was left a bit confused because the bill says service is not included, but as someone without CZK in cash, I didn't know how to tip. I would have loved doing so, as they deserved every bit of it! Please make sure you find a way to tip even for people paying by card!
