I can’t pronounce the name of this place but it doesn’t matter. It’s called Lost Paradise and it for sure has that chill and relaxing island vibe to it. It’s really easy to spend more time than you should because the staff is super friendly and very welcoming! Every time I go there I’m greeted with a smile, a quick or long chat and they always know what I want. I have never met any staff member there having a bad day. Nice, polite and professional.. great combination! If only all pub staffs were like that! There isn’t a children’s menu and you can’t order a la carte but that’s fine, my 4-year-old son and I can easily share something if I bring him. If you like Czech beer, good food, have a taste for a variety of rums while being served by people in a good mood, then this is your place! After living in Letna for 10 years , I have eaten and drank in Ztraceny Raj well over 100 times. As the owner of a tour agency operating in Letna, I have been recommending the place to all my guests for the past 10 years. I went there this afternoon with my 4 year old daughter. The place was totally empty, 2 people in the beer garden and 2 inside. I ordered a beer , a juice for my daughter and a portion of croquets and ketchup. I was told that one can not purchase a side dish, you must buy a main course. This is the most ridiculous thing Iv every heard! As long as I live I will never set foot inside that place again, and from today I will stop recommending it to my guests. And I have sent hundreds there over the years. Walking from the National Technical museum towards the lovely park of Stromovka, you pass this local pub in the tree lined avenue. If you are inclined towards spicy food you might want to try their Goulash, otherwise give their Smichov a try. Lovely service and very affordable pricing, giving only 4 stars because of the spicy Goulash, but if that is your kind of thing this place might be a 5-star...
