Worst Poke Bowl and “lunch” ever. First off, I came for the lunch menu, which implies it is relatively fast because it is made for working people on their lunch break. Needless to say, 20 minutes later, food still had not arrived and once you see what I actually received, you’ll understand why I’m really disappointed and mad. I ordered their water (see menu) with lime and mint. It arrived with neither, so I at least asked for the lime and when it was brought to me, there was no acknowledgment that they made a mistake. Second, I ordered the poke bowl with shrimp. Because I was going to be late for work, I had to get it to go. They knew I was upset, but have the audacity to ask for 17 crowns to throw the food into a box. I don’t normally mind paying, but not under these circumstances. Also, the “lime and mint” water cost another 15. The biggest insult to injury was when I got home and opened the box. It was absolutely disgusting (and I don’t use this word lightly). 80% of the meal was rice and the whole thing was doused with mayonnaise. The kimchi was NOT kimchi and the shrimp were some tiny slimy boiled pre-frozen vile not edible items. I ate the slice of cucumber and rest went into the trash. This delight cost me 237. It’s shameful that they could look me in the eye, hand me this, and take the money. Oh and she also just handed me the box without even putting in a bag. No napkins, no utensils, nothing….
Save your money and go elsewhere. Plenty of delicious Asian and Poke...

🔸️ DUCK IN RED CURRY ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Succulent and flavourful roast duck slices atop red curry with julienned carrots, white cabbage and bamboo shoots. This was satisfying! The red curry was mild, smooth and rich. It was easily enjoyable and not over powered with chilli heat.
Sides of rice or noodles costs extra.
🔸️ BÚN CHẢ COMBO ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The warm rice noodles in the BÚN CHẢ COMBO completely surprised me. Soft, fragrant, lifting the appetite and so much better than the lukewarm / cold versions. Eaten with grilled pork, fried spring rolls, meatballs, fresh baby lettuce and a light dipping sauce, they all harmonized into a splendid dinner.
🔸️ Iced lemon tea with tamarind ⭐⭐⭐ Unique sweetened ice lemon tea with some hints of the sourness of tamarind. The drink has alot of crunchy edible tamarind seeds.

Read moreIt was a rainy night and we decided to go to the nearest restaurant. The ambience is bright, modern and comfortable. We were attended to by a pleasant young man who spoke good English. The restaurant positioned itself as a Vietnamese restaurant, but half the menu were Thai dishes. We ended up with a Pad Thai, Tom Yum seafood, a salad and chicken skewers. Serving style is catered to a Western style where each guest orders their own dishes and overall cooking style has been modified either to cater to the Western palette or what is imagined as modern food. The food was average. The prawns served in the Pad Thai and Tom Yum were not deceived - a little tacky for a upmarket establishment. Chicken on the skewers were dried and probably flattened with a mallet to 'tenderise' or season better, but took away any inkling of chicken in the...
