Phở Bar Na Poříčí 43 — Restaurant in Prague

Tonight I was treated VERY MUCH RUDELY by a waitress while dining here. When I was using the women's restroom, I noticed that the door was locked from the inside, so I waited for several minutes, but no one ever came out, and there was no response to my knocking on the door, so I assumed that the door was locked and unusable, so I went into the men's restroom that was empty next to it. However, just as I was closing the door, I heard the sound of the women's restroom next to me opening the door, so I opened the door again, ready to see what was going on in the women's restroom. As a result, a waitress came out from inside, and she was caught slacking in the restroom, so she changed the subject and asked me why I went to the wrong restroom and loudly questioned me 'What's wrong with you'. It was all very dramatic. I don't want to talk to this kind of LOW-quality waitress, but she was unbelievably unreasonable, she not only occupied the restroom to be lazy and did not let customers use it, but also made unreasonable accusations to customers. I find the quality of the servers at this store to be very worrisome. Also, this store is extremely disrespectful to the LGBTQ community if she is accusing me, based solely on her shallow perceptions and through my feminine appearance, that I shouldn't have mistakenly entered the unoccupied men's restroom because of her mistake. I don't expect that level of service from a store located in Prague 1. Also, I think it is necessary for the owner to supervise the staff not to hide in the toilet and be lazy, resulting in customers not being able to use the toilet. About the food: Fast serving...

Today I had lunch at PHO BAR. This place has been near where I lived since I moved to Prague in 2017. However I had seen it for the last 7 years since I first came to Prague. Well it is by far the best Vietnamese food I have had in Prague EVER! Although they serve as a fast food establishment it is far from that. It is elegantly and chicly designed and decorated as if you are in a 4-5 star place. The food was served in under 5 minutes which concerned me. However it was not only hot but fresh and excellently cooked! The decor is slick and hip yet with a Vietnamese flavor. My server Gaing was extremely professional and social and added to the excellent guest experience. I sat outside on one of the 4 tables they had and it was beautiful weather and a great experience. However on my next visit I’ll sit inside to enjoy the ambience and decor. If you are looking for great Vietnamese food served quickly then don’t even think about going anywhere else! PHO BAR is by far the best Vietnamese restaurant in all of Prague! I can’t wait to go back tomorrow!...

The staff humiliated my wife in front of the entire restaurant. They have a tray rack where you are supposed to slide your tray in after finishing your meal. Because others pile dishes too high on their tray my wife wasn't able to put her tray on the rack properly and the tray dropped to the floor. My wife was embarrassed and apologised and offered to clean up. Two staff members immediately told us, in front of the other diners that we would have to pay for the damaged bowls and we waited while they called their boss. Being intimidated by the situation, not knowing Czech law and having a plane to catch we felt we had no choice but to pay them 800 Koruna. I fell that my wife was only partly to blame for the accident as their tray stacking system is not fit for purpose. Surely any decent restaurant should have a budget for broken 'IKEA quality' plates accidentally broken...
