I visited this Starbucks shop on the Vitezne Namesti in Prague 6 on Sunday afternoon and ordered an ice caramel coffee and apple cake. Instead, the server brought a hot caramel coffee but when I said that I ordered iced one, he replaced it in a short time without problems. The ice coffee was good. However, the cake was not fresh. Considering that Starbucks is charging close to one hundred CZK for a cake, I am expecting a fresh cake and professional service, not a several days old, dried up apples, and sorry looking cake crust. The place had an A/C which was welcomed during this warm summer day. The place was clean and nearly empty, except for several Ukrainian unemployed "refugees" who seem to be well able to buy 100 CZK coffee and 100 CZK cake from their Czech taxpayers funded government subsidies while most Czech citizens cannot afford to buy even the most necessary food items in the grocery stores. The coffee shop is conveniently placed near the metro and tram stations and easily accessible on foot. Parking of a private car is impossible and no parking spaces are available. Nearby are other fast food outlets, coffee shops, and restaurants with both indoor and outdoor seatings. Update: This time the order was correct...
Read morePretty decent Starbucks, but not a fan. I went here for a quick relax session. I had the Caramel Macchiato, my favorite drink. Theirs was one of the better ones I've had I suppose. They put the caramel on top of the foam, which was a little strange. I usually prefer licking the foam before I get to the drink, which was not possible here without wasting all of the caramel. The drink itself was a bit more bitter than I'm used to, but you could definitely taste the quality. Although I did find it a bit more expensive than I am used to in independent cafes. The place itself was a little underwhelming. They did have free WiFi, but in parts of the store it was rather slow. Yet, I did adore the design. They have a second floor and plenty of seats for everyone. The service so it's perfect if you need to just quickly grab some drink. They also have a gift shop,...
Read moreThis particular Starbucks is rather small, but don’t get misinformed. It actually makes it a lot nicer, as every piece of furniture is high quality. Most of it is made out of different kinds of wood. It is especially a popular place to study because of students nearby. There are a lot of lights around the whole place. Some warm and some cold. It feels like home to me. Some people might dislike it, because it has low ceiling and limited seating. In my experience you shouldn’t worry about seating, as you will get a good spot almost every time. In conclusion, this is one of the better Starbucks in Prague, since it offers a unique environment, that...
