Woké Bowl — Restaurant in Prague

I usually don't write reviews, but this time it really deserved some feedback. We went there end August with some friends, since we were visiting the city a couple days. It was pretty late but we were friendly asked to sit down and order nevertheless, by a very nice waiter that, to our surprise was spoke fluent english (not always the case in prague).

What specifically delighted us, was the food! We all had very different food preferences and I personally asked if some things from the poke bowl could be switched for other ingredients (no carbs), which was to my surprise not problem at all! The food was very good, the price affordable and the service just perfect.

We actually came here twice during our stay in Prague. The first time was simply due to its convenient location near the hotel, but second time we are drawn here again for the flavour and the humble price. All dishes are prepared extremely quickly but still tastes very harmony and delicious. Fish sauce are full of Umami but not too stinky. Rolls are fried freshly, cripspy and aromatic. The owner is very communicative and humourous type and chatted with us since we happend to be last visitor of the day and ordered 3 dishes for two people (which amazed him a bit LOL). Seriously disappointed. It's expensive. Service is not very friendly and they don't pay much attention to you. In the evening they lack of basic ingredients like cilantro or bamboo. In the final dish is almost no meat. If you order some expensive meat like duck, you kind of expect to find more than 2-3 small pieces of duck in your food. And they switched zucchini for mushroom without any notice or excuse. Overally sloppy. What made my day was the special sauce which was absolutely delicious. But...
