Very tasty food, warm when delivered The Lamb biryani was tasty, but I was missing the gravyness and the meat was dry. Tasted more like spiced leftover rice. Disappointing if you know how real biryani is, but still full of flavour. The Malai Kofta was super creamy and delicious, buttery sauce. But it only had 4 small balls of kofta, so if you only order this as a main dish it will be quite plain. Bhindi masala was nice and tangy with good crunch on the okra. Their raita is more a salad than sauce, the veggies (cucumber chickpea potato onion) come in big chunks. Personally I think the potatochunks were overpowering and made it taste more like potatosalad. It's not every day I feel like carb-loading and sweating while I eat, but when I have one of those days, they will, from here on out, be spent at Al-Diwan. Extra points awarded because I'm sick, can't breathe through my nose, can't smell anything, generally feel like death, and still managed to taste the flavor in my dinner. What a pleasant delight that was after mouth-breathing all the day long.

This is the best Indian Hotel in Copenhagen. Visited there for dinner and it was a wonderful experience. Owner is a very good host.. Very authentic Indian test. Order Lamb Biryani. Lamb was so nicely tendered.. also you can smell all other aromas of Indian spices in biryani. Also had chicken gravy and roti. Chicken also fresh and not over cooked. Chicken was marinated well and that you can make out from its reach test. Rotis are also well prepared. Also you will get Raita n salad as complimentary. Mainly they are not changing for water.
