Simply phenomenal food – there is no other way to put it. The lovely waitress was just so friendly and happy to answer any questions for a first timer like myself. If you were a fan of spicy, well seasoned food, brimming with flavor, look no further than this modest little storefront in norrebro. Come here with an open mind and I promise you will leave stuff and satisfied. Personally, I would suggest a combination platter since you get a little bit of everything in terms of the different meat dish. Wash it down with your choice of Ethiopian beer or fruit beverage. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience here, and I will forever hold this restaurant up as the gold standard of how Ethiopian / Eritrean Food should taste. Ps— I don’t quite understand why there are two seemingly very good Ethiopian restaurants right next to each other, but I hope they both do well and continue to serve delicious food.

Visited in March 2025. We tried the shikla, red ribsi lamb, and the vegan combination. The food took a while to arrive, but was delicious and in good quantity. For drinks, we had the Asmara beer, Mes honey wine, and mango juice. The honey wine was interesting, but I would not have it again. Still, I think the drinks options were good. The waitress was very friendly and the place was tiny, but nice. The prices are reasonable. A few years ago, I struggled to find a good Ethiopian/Eritrean place in Copenhagen, so I was very happy to finally go to this one. Overall, I'm likely to come back here and I can recommend the place.

Delicious, authentic food with the best service of any restaurant I’ve been to in Denmark. The waitress was so kind and accommodating - offering to refill any of the veggies we loved - and I saw she even offered to stay open late for two other customers who came by towards the end of the evening. They have gluten free injera which is brilliant too. The only thing to be aware of is, it’s a very small space - just one small room with six or so tables - so if other customers are being loud it can make the room a little loud. Overall though great cozy friendly delicious experience!
