My boyfriend and I used to like their food and today we were really looking forward to it. Based on the business info, we made a reservation at 12 through their booking, which was then confirmed. We arrived on time and found out that the restaurant was closed, but a few people, seems like owners’ friends or employees told us the owner will come soon. Then we decided to walk around and wait. 10 minutes later we arrived again, then the people outside started to joke, “ah it’s only 11:00. It will be open at 12.” ( It was already 12:15.) Then finally someone got to ask the owner then got a reply that they will open at 14. Then why accepted our reservation for 12? Read moreI have had Eritrean/Ethiopian food only once before, so I was looking forward to trying it again, and see if it was as good as I remembered it. Spoilers: it was.
From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with a nice welcoming smile, and felt right at home.
The waiter was attentive, so we always felt cared for and noticed, when we wanted something. She was also good at explaining the food to us, so we could pick what felt right to us.
The atmosphere was nice, warm and calm, and even though the place was packed, it didn’t feel noisy or to much. So wonderful.
The food was good, well seasoned and more than enough to feel full and replenished.
