I had a great time here! The space itself is beautiful, inside the 25 hours hotel. Service is reasonable. The Paloma cocktail is surprisingly good. Portions were generous - appetisers are probably good for 2 (so get a few and share!) and the complimentary bread and spread to start was top notch and really delicious. We had “aubergine from the charcoal grill” and “charcoal cauliflower” and both were awesome - smoky, savoury, sweet, balanced. For mains we had dry aged rib eye steak, grilled lamb chops, and the Jerusalem plate. Ironically I think their grilled meats aren’t so tasty. But the portion is generous - there were 6 (!) lamb chops. Steak was more normally sized. I think the chefs here do their timing slightly longer so, a medium is closer to medium-will, and soon. Maybe make your request a half notch down. The standout dish is the Jerusalem plate though - it comes with soft, pillowy, smoky sweet pita bread, and is a cross between hummus and grilled chicken, drizzled with beautiful spiced dressings and served with grilled chilli and more. I’d come Bak just to have this dish again! It’s bursting with flavor and is a comfort food at the same time. Unfortunately didn’t make it to dessert! Too much food. I’d say, skip the grilled meats and have more of everything else, you’ll have a great time here. Pricing worked out to DKK 375 per person, but e had some children in our party. Overall I think it’s good value for the quality. Come in a group so you can have more variety! Visit Date: May 30, 2023

The place itself is very beautiful, located in the 25 hours hotel which is beautiful and unique as well. As for the food, for people who are not familiar with Israeli-arab cuisine it will be something very special and different, but for Israelis and foodies, the food is not that something to write home about. The take off for the falafel was great but the Chraime is not the original one and was just OK. The original one is fish filets cooked in spicy romato red sauce, and served with Chala bread, and not fish fillet grilled on the plancha served on matbucha. If introducing the food for Europeans, why not going for the real authentic dishes? Would recommend the chef to go for it and serve the original Israeli cuisine. It was good but nothing so special. And tried to charge 50 dkk for water, which we specifically asked for tap water(after several explanation we were not charged).

Came here at Christmas Eve, 24th Dec. Was surprised the restaurant opened until late. Last order was at 10 pm, and they close at 11. Our flight landed late so this was perfect as we stayed in the hotel. They have both small dishes and big dishes - the small dishes were mostly vegetarian. Perfect for us, as we weren’t that hungry. We ordered 3 dishes: the grilled aubergine, the beetroot and the red lentil soup. We also ordered a cocktail and a mock tail. My personal favorite was the aubergine, this one I fully recommend. It was soft and the combination was nice. The red lentil soup was delicious, and a bit spicy. I also recommend this. The service was very good - even when they are busy and late at night, they were polite and engaging. Fully recommend this place - especially if you are looking at a place to eat late at night

Do not recommend!

The food was OK, not bad, but not anything out of this world for the price tag. Like many others mentioned, the service was very slow despite the restaurant not being busy.

We waited over 30+ minutes to get the appetizers, and then almost another 30 minutes for the main dish. The waitress mentioned that the kitchen was busy, but that she would check. 2 minutes later the food appeared. We got the impression that the kitchen was on top of things, and that the delay was due to the waiters as they were generally slow and would stand around by the register instead of tending to the people waiting.

The most ridiculous part was the pricing of the water. On the menu you will see still water priced at 25 DKK. This would be totally fine if you were paying for bottled water. However what you're paying for is normal tap water filled in a glass bottle. Whats worse, they charged us double (50 DKK) because we were two people. To reiterate, we had only ordered and gotten ONE bottle of tap water, but had to pay almost 7 euros becasue we were two people drinking it?!?! Charging over 3€ for tap water is laughable in itself, however charging us double for the same one bottle simply because we were two it is beyond reasonable. If one bottle costs 25DKK, it should cost 25DKK no matter how many people share it. By their logic, if we had been four people, we would have been charged 100DKK for the same one bottle of tap water. Similarly then, they should have charged us double for the one dessert we ordered as well as me & my friend shared it.

While those 7€ will not make or break the bank, it's the principle of overcharging for TAP water that is both absurd and distasteful.

Overall, while the food was not bad, the service needs imporving. More importantly, this idea of extracting a dime from the customers in any way possible comes across as somewhat tactless and frankly, disrespectful.

In a city with numerous dining options, I would...

First time- Group dinner of 7 ( 5 adults, 2 kids under 4 years old). Our server seem disinterested in our group when taking our drink and food order. We ordered shared dishes to arrive all the same time, the dishes came out slowly and the drinks only arrived after 3-4 dishes were out. Shortly after all our dishes arrived, there was a loud alarm and the kitchen "gates" closed. The kids' meals came after the adult dishes arrived. After 5-6 minutes of silence, an automated speaker came on and told everyone to evacuate and leave the hotel. Apparently a kitchen fire. After all that, there was no discount for our food and all the kitchen staff could be seen across from the restaurant courtyard just smoking and having a break. From the outward appearance, it seemed that it may be common occurance. 15-20 mins elapsed before the customers were allowed back onto the premise (fire brigade on-site) The food was not as expected. I wouldn't recommend the lamb dish... half was inedible with sinew and fat not trimmed or rendered. Overall this restaurant food and ambience experience was the lowest tier in our Copenhagen visit. Food, service and front of staff were lacking. The experience didn't live up to the other reviews or the decor. Based on this experience, will unlikely visit the restaurants in the other...
