I wanted to enjoy last morning in Copenhagen by having a perfect Danish pastry. Unfortunately, this wasn’t pleasant experience. I had cappuccino, almond-chocolate croissant and round pastry with berries filling. The latter one was alright, I enjoyed it. However, cappuccino was served looking like as it was done by cheap coffee automatic machine in Seven Eleven. Cup wasn’t even full, and lacked of any latte art or attempt to create one. You can see exactly how it was served on the picture attached- picture was taken right away before consuming. Almond-chocolate croissant would be a perfection- if a baker knew how to set timer or temperature correctly- and not over bake them (also known as burned). Croissant consists of thousands beautifully created butter layers, which, when properly baked, is fantastically crispy and soft and buttery and pure gastronomical pleasure for human being. Well, that morning it was burned. Speaking in steak terms- very well done- which is still edible, and even might be enjoyed by few people, but not by most. I wouldn’t write this review if it wasn’t that expensive. When you paid $23 for 2 pastries and cappuccino, you expect that $7 croissant to be a perfection. (And $8 cappuccino to look like cappuccino made by barista). Which is possible and available at many wonderful bakeries around Copenhagen- I have enjoyed Hart, Andersen and even Lagkhakhuset chain bakeries’ pastries much more. This was a disappointment. I was asked twice by staff- did you like pastries? I replied briefly- yes. Because what I should have done- make a scene, ask to bake a croissant for me, or refund my money? (The whole batch on the counter looked the same dark brown color and disguised by sugar powder as you can see on the pictures). Two stars because croissant would be 10 out of 10 if baked correctly and it’s surely amazing on another day. We all do mistakes, it’s understandable- but normally if you burned tray of pastries- you discard it, and not sell for $7 a piece to customers. When you did it at home- it’s okay, grandpa will still eat it, no problem, or you can give it away to your neighbors for Thanksgiving. I forgive Denmark for prices because pastries are absolute perfection - it’s worth it, even though in Paris you can have the same quality pastry for 1-2 euros a piece. Why review is this long? Well I had 9 hours flight back home. With love and passion to a good food, Sincerely, Alex.

Great little tucked-away bakery with the softest cinnamon buns you'll ever have. ----- We got 4 different pastries: Berliner, Cinnamon bun, cardamom bun, and something else that I can't remember the name of (some kind of rhubarb danish). The buns were incomprehensibly soft, almost as if they were uncooked (but they were definitely fully cooked). One of us actually got another cinnamon bun because it was so good. The Berliner was tasty and soft as well. The danish was okay; the outer edge was rather well-cooked but not very flavorful. The center was very tasty but there just wasn't enough of it. We also got two lattes and a hot chocolate. The others really enjoyed their lattes. My hot chocolate was pretty bad. Maybe I'm simply used to a different style, but it had no sweetness, was quite bitter, and was very thin. I added a sugar cube to help, but it by no means fixed it. So avoid the hot chocolate. Our service was good. The two people that helped us were prompt and very nice. They spoke perfect English, so we had no trouble communicating. The location is tucked away and seems to be in/adjacent to a hotel. You'll know you're there once you go down the stairs and see the greenery wall. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area, but don't go out of your way for it. Would rate 4.5 stars if I could, as it wasn't perfect, but 4 seems a bit too low because it really was very good.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding my recent visit to your café. Unfortunately, the experience I had left me feeling quite dissatisfied due to the lack of attention and consideration shown by your staff.

During my visit, I was experiencing severe discomfort and nausea, to the point where I felt like vomiting. Despite my condition, I decided to order a coffee and some food, hoping that it might help alleviate my discomfort. However, what followed was a complete letdown.

I sought a place to rest and lay down on a sofa in hopes of finding some relief. Regrettably, your staff ignored my obvious discomfort and went about their duties without addressing my situation. Despite being a paying customer and having placed an order, I was treated as if my well-being was of no concern.

I understand the importance of maintaining a certain atmosphere and enforcing rules in your establishment. However, I strongly believe that compassion and consideration for your patrons should never be compromised. In situations where a customer is visibly unwell, a little empathy and assistance can make a world of difference.

My experience at your café left me feeling ignored, undervalued, and ultimately disappointed. As a customer, I expected to be treated with a basic level of care and respect, especially when seeking a brief respite due to discomfort. It is my hope that you take this feedback seriously and address the need for improved customer service and responsiveness in such situations.

I believe that by enhancing your staff's sensitivity to customers' well-being and discomfort, you can create a more positive and accommodating environment for all patrons. I sincerely hope my feedback contributes to a better experience for future visitors.

Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns. I look forward to seeing positive changes in your café's approach to...
