The food at the restaurant was very good — tasty and well prepared. Unfortunately, the service left us with a very unpleasant impression.
First of all, we were served bread with olives at the beginning, but the table was missing the basics you usually find in Italian restaurants — salt, pepper, and oil. After some time, we had to ask for these ourselves.
Secondly, the service was disappointing — during the whole evening, not once did the waiters come to check if everything was fine or offer us drinks or additional dishes. We had to go to the bar ourselves every time to place an order. The communication felt more rude than welcoming. Even at the end of the evening, after we finished our main courses and our glasses were empty, the waiters simply cleared the plates and walked away without offering us more drinks or dessert.
There was also an unpleasant situation with our reservation. It might have been our mistake, as we arrived an hour later than planned. When we asked if there were free tables, we were told rather sharply that there were none. We left, made a new reservation for just five minutes later, and then were allowed inside. The woman at the reception was extremely unfriendly, radiating negative emotions and showing no basic courtesy.

I only discover that by chance when I was at the exit door and so I went back in to ask, and I was told “this is a charge done by my credit card company”!! I replied “no other place or reaturant ever did that”, Then the manager added “that’s normal here in Copenhagen”. I said “that’s not true and I have been here for 5 days and never faced this issue, and even if that was the resturant policy to charge extra for credit cards, I should have the right to know”
To be honest, and by traveling a lot, I have seen some “low end shops” do the same, yet hey inform you, and normally they do that because they don’t do much revenue and that credit card charge affect them, but for this resturant with a bill of 1880 DKK, adding this charge on the customer and not even inform them, is (to me)...

Reserviert für 20:15. Bekommen haben wir: 20:40, kalte Blicke und das Gefühl, wir stören gerade beim Personalabend. Der Empfang? Fehlanzeige. Hätten wir uns auch gleich selbst einen Tisch bauen können.
Dann das absolute Highlight: Drei Hauptgerichte? Einfach vergessen. Als wär das hier ne Runde “Restaurant-Roulette”. Statt ’ner Entschuldigung kam nur genervtes Rumfragen à la „Was fehlt denn jetzt schon wieder?“ – ja sorry, dass wir hier Essen bestellt haben, wie dreist von uns.
Das Essen war gut. Ja. Aber ehrlich – für den Preis hätten wir auch erwarten können, dass der Kellner uns zum Abschied ein Gedicht vorträgt oder uns wenigstens ein „Tut mir leid“ schenkt.
Fazit: Beim nächsten Mal lass ich mir lieber die Kniescheiben mit einem Nudelholz zerschmettern, während jemand „Mamma Mia“ auf einem Akkordeon spielt – macht mehr Spaß und ist günstiger.

Table booked for 8:15 PM. What we got: 8:40, awkward stares, and the distinct vibe of interrupting a staff meeting. No welcome, no apology – just pure “why are you even here?” energy.
Then came the grand finale: Three mains? Just… vanished. Like they got raptured. And instead of a “we’re so sorry,” we got annoyed interrogations like “What’s missing now?” – Sorry Karen, food. Food is missing.
The food? Tasty, sure. But for that price, I expected at least a jazz band and a handwritten apology scroll.
Final thought: Next time I’d rather have my kneecaps shattered with a rolling pin while someone plays “That’s Amore” on a recorder. More fun, less expensive.

Vi reserverede til kl. 20:15. Vi fik: kl. 20:40, kolde blikke og følelsen af, at vi lige havde ødelagt personalets hygge. Velkomst? Nope. Vi kunne lige så godt have sat os selv og taget bestik med hjemmefra.
Så kom showet: Tre hovedretter? Pist væk. Som om de blev teleportet ud i rummet. Og i stedet for en undskyldning, fik vi bare et surt “Hvad mangler nu?” – tja, maden måske? Den, vi betalte for?
Maden smagte godt. Men til den pris havde jeg forventet konfetti, violinmusik og en undskyldning syet i pasta.
Konklusion: Næste gang får jeg hellere mine knæskaller smadret med en pastaske, mens nogen synger “Volare” falsk – det er billigere og garanteret...
