Got seated first then the table next to us and ordered the same tasting menu but somehow their food would always served first It’s minor but big at the same time as you get a slower service when you’re not white. This, even tho small, difference in service is annoying to rethink When the staff was explaining the dish he was clearly not remembering the info well with a lot of “um…”, most importantly in an uncaring way. I asked sorry to see if he would say it in a proper attitude but still the same. Also, we saw an additional charge when we pay. Asked and got a simple answer “the bank”. We thought it was our bank and asked the bank. Turns out the restaurant chose to put the bank transaction fee on the customers. It’s meh for me but what is rlly not ok is that the staff should be more clear on what I am paying. However, out of every tasting menu I’ve done in Copenhagen, this has the smallest portion size by a large margin. Some “shareable” dishes were laughably small even for one person.
For over 1.000dkk we left still hungry, unacceptable in my opinion.
Our server was quiet and unfriendly, hardly explaining the dishes. Other servers seemed great so I think it was just him.
I’d told them we were celebrating an anniversary and they sat us in a small corner by the glasses / cutlery, servers were constantly grabbing things over our heads. It’s a cramped space.
