Mammas Pizzeria — Restaurant in Odense Kommune

Mammas used to be an okay place if you wanted some solid Italian classics without any fuzz, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. We visited the place after a long break and it might have been a mistake. The food is bland at best and the lighting in the "restaurant" take you more to a cheap restaurant in the Middel East than a cozy Italian restaurant. Sorry, but I would call Mammas an advanced pizzaria and not a restaurant.

On the plus side, the staff is very friendly and the place won't rip you off.

I would recommend Marcantonio Trattoria over...

I do not recommend the Tiramisu, under any circumstances. I was waiting for a delicious piece of heaven, but instead I got a Tiramisu that looked and tasted at least a couple of days old, which was a huge dissapointment:(

Maybe ask how fresh it is before ordering, so you don't have the terrible surpise we had. Terribly overpriced for the cake delivered!

The Aperol was okay, nothing fancy, nothing great. Staff was as well, okay.

Absolutely terrible experience. The waiting time was more than 40 min and they even didn’t promise to bring pizza in next 15-20 min. If we didn’t ask, they would not even warn us. They “explained” that the restaurant is too busy with take away orders! Fantastic to know. Thus people who are sitting in the restaurant must wait more than hour for food. Of course there were no compliment snacks, neither suggesting to give a discount for food or free desert. It’s so unprofessional and horrible service. We just left after 50...
