Santa Rosa — Restaurant in Iñaquito

It's saddens me to lower the rating for this place. I had been visiting Santa Rosa for three years and I noticed the quality of the food declined. Yesterday I ordered the chicken gizzards and it was incredibly disappointing. The gizzards were just cooked (not grilled) not flavor whatsoever and cold. When I asked them to please grilled them, they brought back a dish drenched in oil, no flavor whatsoever and very soggy fries soaked in oil. I left the plate full although I did pay for the full amount. I won't be coming back.

Food was good, some of the beer tasted kind of weird, like very amateur made beer. It's the first time I've been here since the pandemic started, and the beer didn't use to taste like that, it used to be tasty! Hope it was just a bad batch. Working in Ecuador and found this, by accident, on my day off in Quito.

After a week drinking fairly tasteless lager-type beers, this place was a fantastic find. Proper ales, brewed locally (or on the premises) with lots of taste. Particularly enjoyed the IPA.

Really nice building and comfortable seating. Didn’t try the food but would in future.
