Flying Fish — Restaurant in Giza

I placed an order for fish kebab and grilled calamari with specific instructions not to include any colored peppers in either as I am allergic to colored peppers. Made sure that they wrote it in the order and double confirm. They deliver both full of cooked green peppers. When I called to complain they passed me the chef that started arguing with me that the peppers are to keep the food moist completely disregarding my allergies. When I requested that they change it to what I ordered they 3 hours later only changed the calamari and not the fish. I returned the fish untouched and requested that they refund me its cost. The audacity of the matter is that they deducted almost 25% transportation cost for the refund. Such a lousy experience to make me for sure not to order or recommend them any time soon. Shame on you...

Great little restaurant, it has a feel that you have memories in this place with your parents even if you didn’t. Classic and traditional service by the book, very clean and prompt. Food was very good, soup was well cooked, sea bass was firm and very tasty, butterfly shrimp were flawless. Silver service and even the Creme Brûlée was finished at the table. The Sea Bream 9/10. Brilliant oiled and in oven, brown rice.

Shrimp platter 10/10. Nothing else to say, fresh shrimps in this country is my go to food to eat. Tastes brilliant, can't stop eating it.
