I have been there 3 times and won't go there again because :
The food is either salty or bland.
The prices are excessive compared to other better places, and they add taxes which you don't pay elsewhere.
The service is appaling, last time we went we ordered black leaf (loose Tea) and a Cappuccino. The guy ignored me a couple of times when I was talking to him, when he brought the tea it was a tea bag type and no mint, when I complained he took it away and brought it with mint but it was still the tea bag type, then I said I want a leaf tea and not bagged tea, he offered to break the tea bag in the cup, I said to him it is totally the wrong type of tea, he kept insisting that it doesn't make a difference, so I told him I don't want any tea bacause of your attitude.
Then the caputccino was ready in about 50 minutes which was frustrating.
And when the bill came they have added the tea which I canceled to it, told him that we are not paying for the canceled tea, he said but it was already ordered and otherwise he would have to pay for it, I was so angry 😡 and told him I don't care, especially with your attitude trying to force me to drink something I don't want and now you are trying to make me feel guilty?
When we left there we felt sick 🤮
An advice, keep away.... There are better places like Bonjour Cafe and others where you can get a great product, price and most importantly a...
Read moreThe best restaurant in all of Luxor, as simple as that. I was there 5 years ago and it has still improved. The food is spectacular, a variety of Egyptian and Western food. The shawarna is the best in all of Egypt, pizzas and all the food. The restaurant is super clean and has quality food. Very affordable. The views are unbeatable, you can see the entire Luxor temple, the Child and the Valley of the Kings in the background. The staff is very attentive. Special mention for Mohamed, always attentive. Mohamed is possibly the best guide in Luxor, a polite, calm and kind person, an expert in Egyptology who takes your visit to the Valley of the Kings or the Karnak and Luxor temples to a higher level. When you listen to the other guides explaining to their clients the characteristics of what you are visiting and you compare it with what he tells you, it is like comparing a primary school student to a university student. Being able to count on him on our visits was one of the best things about our...
Read moreI think it's a nice place. It has a great view and food and drinks are of good quality. The service is ok, friendly, although waiting for the ordered food usually takes quite some time, but that is not uncommon in Egypt. The prices are rather high but I think that is to be expected for the location and a place with a good finish. In summer it can be rather noisy inside because of all the fans and airco's running to keep the temperature comfortable. So, although there are some good and minus on this place, I think it's overall a good place to visit, especially because there are not so many good places in this area of Luxor. Food, view, service and interior are all good (Not excellent). In Egypt not many places tick all important boxes. And, as it should be, prices are for everyone the same, something that is not in every restaurant the case, especially not the smaller,...
