I'm a solo female tourist and I was looking for a cafe just to take a rest after walking a lot around Karnak Temple in Luxor. I googled, and this rooftop cafe caught my attention with a beautiful view picture, so I gave it a try.

When the elevator door opened, young male staff warmly welcomed me, although a little bit of surprise expression was shown in his face, probably because he didn't expect Asian woman to visit here alone.

No English menu, all in Arabic, so prepare Google translation on your phone. One staff spoke a little bit of English, and he tried to explain about menu. All the staff attitude was such a pleasant one.

I ordered Nutella Waffle and mango smoothie. Both are great tastes! Waffle sauce was sweet, and that's what I wanted after tiring afternoon. Mango smoothie was the right choice to refresh!

At first I seated counter seat to enjoy the view, and then when the sun directly came in, I shifted to the sofa seat. From both seats I enjoyed the view as much as the Waffle and smoothie!
