Exactly what I was looking for! A fast, no-frills streetside place for falafel. They have a full menu, reasonable prices, and nice service. 45 EGP for a falafel pita that's ready in 5 minutes? Hell yes!

Obviously it's not a fancy restaurant, but the tables are comfortable enough and you can generally find some shade. The staff are helpful and really nice--the first time I went, I was trying to find 5 EGP for exact change and the guy behind the register just said to give it to him next time :D

We've also gotten takeaway from here and it was ready quickly and packaged up nicely.

Overall, this is definitely my go-to place for a quick bite in Dahab--it's not like "blow-you-away amazing" food necessarily, but it's reliable and...

-The shop allows you to choose your ingredients, with the most common ingredient being Ta’amiyya, the Egyptian felafel, made with fava beans instead of chickpeas. They were extremely moist and flavourful on the inside, with a perfectly light and crispy crust.

-The ingredients to which we could add were; The Egyptian feta cheese dip, tomato and cucumber salad, Tahini, babaganoush, eggplant and fresh potato chips, which they constantly were frying.

Overall, this is a quality, fresh, tasty, authentic and greatly valued feed, a local favourite and a Feed Puncher favourite within Dahab....

Poor dining experience due to excessive service charges, noisy stressful atmosphere, overpriced items (bread and bottled water) and billing inaccuracies (which always always happens)

Here are some tips for Dining Here: Verify costs of all items before ordering. Avoid 20% service charge added to dine-in bills and just order takeaway. The restaurant is often noisy anyway. Skip overpriced bottled water. Ask about bread prices to avoid surprise charges. Consider calculating your bill separately to ensure accuracy, as math errors have occurred (apparently they're not good at...

Eat like a local! A place with 90% of local customers. Very tasty! It works the way you get a paper, tell what you want, pay it at cash desk and then go to the food station. They make Egyptian ‘sandwiches’, you choose what goes inside from available products. Also you can buy those per grams + bread and take away for a picnic or home feast. Prices are super 1 sandwich + tea pot + 0,3 water = 85 EGP, 100 g of babaganush + fresh pita bread (a lot) = 25 EGP Sorry my pics are not the most instagrammable 😀
