Best Mexican food I've found in Egypt.

I don't know where to begin. I mean I'm a fat guy and one bowl of nachos made me waddle out like a pregnant lady. I had beef nachos (hot). It was impressive, I haven't had nachos that good on this continent and seldom matched or exceeded in the states.

The hot spiciness was in the spectrum you would expect for traditional Mexican food hot enough to barely bead sweat and make your nose run. It was pleasant. The nachos were thoroughly layered with toppings needing a fork to finish, creating a symphony of flavor few nachos leave you with.

The home made chips were amazing they were in my nachos and our appetizer. This is a measure of quality that is seldom found in any resturant anymore.

My wife had shrimp tacos that she made disappear like Houdini and was left with only a smile. I presume they were amazing too. I ate her loaded potato. It was a dream come true with their house salsa.

We also had the cheese, guacamole, and salsa trio as an appetizer. I'll say it now, I HATE MANGO SALSA!!! I consider it to be Mexican food heresy. A trend that has overstayed it's welcome and should go back to hell where it came from. That being said, my wife loves mango salsa and Taco's dahab even managed to make the mango salsa edible. The cheese and guacamole was also impressive not to mention the house chips so fresh the grease is still glinting in the sun with their dash of seasoning a true culinary delight that I'm pretty sure every aspect was made that day or even as we ordered.

I would be curious to see how they bring to life a more traditional Mexican dish like Molcajete.

If I ever come back to Dahab I will be moving into their...

Visiting Taco’s in Dahab was a pleasant surprise! From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality by the owner, Ahmed, and his son, Hesham, who is the chef behind the delicious dishes. The food was truly made with love and authentic family recipes…each bite bursting with flavours…. The energy in the place is simply amazing, filled with positive vibes that make you feel at home instantly. The ambiance is very cheerful with a smooth, easing energy that perfectly enhances the dining experience. The decoration, though simple, exudes an elegant charm that perfectly complements the relaxed atmosphere. And I can't rave enough about the complimentary tea…it was one of the most exquisite teas I have ever had, adding a perfect finishing touch to an already delicious meal. Thank you, Ahmed and Hesham, for a delightful dining experience. We can't wait...

Tacos Dahab is the best Mexican food I've had in Egypt (having been back and forth for 16 years). I'm originally from Southern California, just 30 minutes north of the border, so I grew up surrounded with incredible Mexican food - and this is it.

The tortillas are among the best I've had, ever, even in Mexico. All of the ingredients come together in a symphony of delicious perfection. More than that, you can taste the passion behind the food - Tacos is family owned and each dish is prepared with care and attention to detail.

I highly recommend any of the tacos dishes (which come with a side of vegetables like roasted sweet potatoes and corn). Sit back and enjoy the vibe of the place, set in a spacious cabana-style garden with authentic...

🌟 Truly Authentic Mexican Experience! This is TRULY Mexican food! Every dish was absolutely delicious, served fresh, and nothing was precooked. The portions were generous, and the warm, authentic atmosphere made the experience even better. The beef tacos were perfectly seasoned—juicy and full of flavor. Don’t miss the nachos; they came with a rich Mexican cheese side and fresh guacamole. The burrito was a standout! Unlike other places, it had the perfect amount of rice—just enough to taste, without overpowering the fillings. Everything was fantastic! I’d definitely come here again. Highly recommended!
