Beer Garden — Restaurant in Tallinn

Don’t be fooled by the exterior as in a cold, snowy day in December we chanced up this great Pub about 2pm and it was hard to see if it was open with the doors shut but peering through the window we could people inside so we decided to go in and so glad we did! Lovely and warm, great seating for large or small groups and an excellent choice of beers and ales. We sat and played cards for awhile to warm up and were only going to have a drink but the menu was so interesting that we decided to tuck in and have a light bite and they were delicious! We shared the tasty black garlic rye bread and dip which was very nice. I had the prawns and my husband had the funky bowl of mushroom soup with a pastry dome and he said it was the best he had ever had! Prices are higher than average in the area. They are so greedy that even charge for tap water which is free of charge everywhere else.

We had a party with a lot of people. Waiters refused to serve drinks at the table, everyone had to go to a bar counter.

The wait time is super long. Ordered grilled prawns and they were undercooked and not grilled at all. The seasoning was off. Waited for them for about 35 minutes. For main got the grilled chicken and that was good but nothing amazing and could have been seasoned more. Sweet potato fries were probably the best part. But waited for the main another 40mins .
