We recently visited Beer House in Tallinn, Estonia, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The highlight of our visit was the amazing food they served. We decided to try their renowned pork knuckle, and it did not disappoint. The dish was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It was a true indulgence for any meat lover.
We were also excited to try their beer tasting set of 6 different flavor of beers. However, we were slightly disappointed with the portion sizes. The beer samples were relatively big sizes, and it felt like we didn't have enough to fully appreciate the range of flavors as we get drunk easily. In fact, we ended up giving out our beers to the next table. It was a misunderstanding with the server. One aspect that could be improved upon is the language barrier with the servers. Unfortunately, they didn't speak English very well, which made it challenging to communicate and ask questions about the menu. This language barrier detracted slightly from the overall experience, as it would have been helpful to receive recommendations and guidance from the staff. In conclusion, Beer House in Tallinn is a fantastic place to indulge in delicious food, especially their mouthwatering pork knuckle. While the beer tasting portion sizes left something to be desired, the flavors were still enjoyable. The language barrier with the servers was a minor inconvenience, but it didn't overshadow the positive aspects of the experience. I would recommend visiting Beer House for a memorable dining...
Read moreThe restaurant has a very good, and Authentic German feel to it all. The outfits, the hair, it’s makes you believe you are actually in a German bar in Germany. The location I must say is quite good, and the restaurant itself looks really interesting with different German decals and etc.
I had a beef burger with cheddar cheese and fries, the amount of grease in that burger is enough to clog an already obese man to the maximum. The greats made it harder for me to enjoy the burger, and made it so I had to use a fork and knife. The burger overall was quite good but the amount of grease and spill it caused, made it more difficult for me as a customer to not make a mess.the fries was quite good, and the beer was amazing with. The only “problem” was the grease and the size of the burger.
The location and the vibe was good, it was authentic and gave you a feel of a German bar, with German music.
The service was good as well, where waitresses was helpful all along the way and were simply amazing. Smiles were not too much present, but hey, it’s a German restaurant, what can you expect?
The bar is something I recommend, the location and the vibe is guaranteed somewhere you might want to bring your family and...
Read moreSince we visited the beer house around 2 1/2 weeks ago, we’ve been to 4 different countries and numerous restaurants and not one restaurant has compared to the total lack of service, friendliness, a simple smile or knowledge of how to run a successful restaurant! When you walk in no one greets you or seats you . No one brings you a menu after 8-10 minutes until you wave them down ( while not busy at all). When they do bring your menus they throw them on the table and leave! We ordered food which was nothing special and the flight of beer. They bring it on a round tray but our server never dared to mention the beer names were on the tray underneath the glass of beer. They never came to ask how anything was, if we wanted another beer or dessert and we then had to wave them down for the check. Several people have left similar reviews mentioning the lack of service and the manager replies that it will be addressed which obviously it has not. Sounds like the staff and management all need to be replaced!! Go to Hell Hunt for an amazing...
