That is a great response from a restaurant on my comment below. Not sure I have ever experience anything similar in Tallinn. Speaking of service...
Thank you very much for your response. I served you personally that night, and I must say that you had great fun and felt great in our house. We're not in the habit of bothering our customers in vain, so we'll apologize if your expectation was that we'd be standing on your desk all night. We are always grateful for a fair response, every restaurant is. But we can't say that about your response. You also seem to be an expert on the Flammkuchens, would you like to help us and explain what you think is the right Flammkuchen? Happy to listen and learn:) FLAMM: creator, owner, service etc. Ingrid
The food was nice BUT this has nothing to do with Flammkuchen. It is more of a thin based oval pizza from base and ingredients wise.
The service was very poor. Given that the place is so small, it was weird to feel ignored at most times.
Worth a try but not...
Read moreI have visited a dozen of 3 star Michelin restaurants around the world, I do have a taste in this world if I may. I could compare this place to a fake Rolex if I may, pretty on the outside, but just try to talk to the waitresses or the cooks, let's say their ugly level of customer service is due to their incompetence. Have you ever been talked to like to a peasant ? Have you seen how sincerely waitresses and cooks do not give a damn about your experience, blatantly saying so in your face ? I won't quote, but let's say level of education of the personel there comparable to a a mediocre public school, stupidity, incompetence so obviosuly apparent in the way they treat you. Do not go to this place if you want your evening to be beautiful. We desereve good things, and this place is not the one. Utterest...
Read moreThe food and atmosphere are alright- BUT- the pizza chef is a militant, controlling nightmare.
The hostess shuddered when I went to order a pizza- because in this place, we don’t call it “pizza” (that’s insulting), we call it Flamm.
I’m a tall woman sitting on a small stool and the pizza man asked the waitress to tell me to not rest my feet on the stool next to me. Apparently there’s a high standard or decorum in this pizza place, despite sitting on a 12” hard stool.
Pizza here is alright, but not worth being around a militant chef who’s clearly terrifying to both his staff and the guests. He should cook in the back where the guests don’t trigger him as much and we can enjoy our meal without being told what...
