Jahu Sushi — Restaurant in Tallinn

A bit sad for me , I am a chef my self very passionate about Japanese . I found the menu a bit confusing and boring , everything had salmon … why? Why there is no option of tasting packages for example menu A : sashimi , roll this , nigiri this . Checking volt the menu is more evolved 🤷‍♂️ why not in the restaurant.

Choosing for the menu is more like you don’t like salmon or don’t want it you choose sashimi or nigiri , rolls all include it . Did enjoy the food but creativity is not there sadly , I’ll definitely come back ,since it’s small and quit , but I’d recommend to the chef to be more versatile in his menus , salmon should not be in all the rolls, be creative there is so many beautiful rolls , maki’s to be done without that . Hope to see a bit of a difference next time .

Jahu is really expanding in Tallinn - Jahu street gourmet , Jahu resto and now Jahu sushi!

We had believed in them already before we went trying out their menu and we must say it wasn’t a disappointment. 
To be honest we couldn’t think of any other place in Tallinn with better nigiris than they have.

We loved seeing the quality of the fish and the way it had been cut professionally.

From their menu you’ll find cool surprires like: -Foie gras nigiris -Keto sushi -Makis with beef and molecularly made truffle caviar (!)

Our favourites were definitely nigiris, salmon tataki and akari maki

The comfort food is calling, And I have been long falling. In my emotions to be a fool, Under the Jahu Sushi's rule.

From the very first occasion, My heart was gone, they won. It's their way, their taste and style, And what will follow - sushi high.

It's just magic, the top hat trick, Not one simple card flip. It's a craft that they've mastered, Focused on taste quality matters.
