Katharinenthal Stockmann — Restaurant in Tallinn

Coffee, refreshments, and cakes are good. The person at the service was scrolling on their phone with their fingers inside their mouth, cleaning their teeth 😬. This person missed to notice several customers standing in front of them and they had to notify for attention. I had ordered already a coffee, when I saw that, so I decided to stay and drink it, only to see this service person transfering pastries around from tray to tray with their bare hands, no glove or tonsils, licking their fingers constantly, and then touching another pastry. This food is served to customers, unfortunately. This is beyond disgusting. I have never seen this anywhere in Tallinn. Better screening of the employees is necessary....

I normally like this place and regularly visit their other location, which serves customers until closing time without issue.

Today I stopped by 15 minutes before closing and was turned away — I just wanted a tea (literally just hot water and a teabag), but was told the “machines were already cleaned.” That made no sense, as hot water doesn’t require anything to be cleaned after.

Disappointing experience. If you’re closing early, say so. Otherwise, don’t advertise service until close if staff aren’t willing...

Я постоянно захожу в это чудесное кафе, вкусно и красиво, за кассой милая отзывчивая девочка. Но сегодня столкнулась с неприятным посещением - я заказала еду и напиток и села за приватный столик за стеклом. Через 10 минут ко мне подошла возрастная женщина и сказав что-то, что я не разобрала, просто уселась рядом, а следом за ней официант принес ей ее еду.

Мою фразу, что я не закончила, проигнорировали.

Затем эта скандальная бабушка начала мне грубить и пинать мои ноги своими, очень хотела посканлалить.

Разве не должен официант получить согласие клиента, чтобы подсаживать к нему других посетителей?

Больше не очень хочется посещать это место,...
