So. Sushi is OK. Waiting is IRRITATING. it took the server almost 20 minutes to come take my order and then I waited more than 30 for my food, and even then the server only noticed that I was missing my soysauce. Um. Wat? The table next to me didn't even get their menus in 15 minutes and had to go ask for them. 20 minutes later they had to go and ask for the server to take their order. And I never saw them get their food. (left 20 minutes after their ordering) I could excuse this RIDICULOUS waiting by rushtime- NOT the case, or by AMAZING food. Not the case either. The sushi was OK. Meh. Mediocre. Was served warm. And yes outside was 31 degrees. And no, sushi is not supposed to be fridge cold, but actually WARMish raw fish and mayo etc made me question eating the food. It did not taste fresh. Not bad (you know if fish has gone bad) but just... Not fresh. Taste of thr rice was ok. The rolls which had mayo had too mich mayo, to the point where thr fattiness of the mayo kinda seales up all your tastebuds. I did not see a server in the dining area so I went to the front desk to pay (I did not want to wait for the check) After the server scrambled to print my check and took the cardmachine I payed and left. Before leaving I said to my neighboring table "Have a happy time waiting" and they noded and laughed. WILL NOT visit ever again, and would...
Read moreOrdered through Bolt and I was seriously impressed. Never have I had sushi quite this terrible. The first shock came from seeing the size on their tuna maki which was barely thicker than my thumb. The size was nothing, however, compared to the colour of the tuna which I would describe as "week old coffee stain." Half of the tuna rolls were not actually rolls but rather roll-halves as the nori was open on one side as if cut with a knife. On a good roll there were 6-7 grains of rice to a side of fish. The salmon on the Philadelphia was probably from the local Maxima, clearly cut from a fish meant for soups, not sushi, and I was actuslly surprised thst I didn't find a single piece of bone. It did, however, fall to pieces on top of the roll, making me think it could have been scraps shaped into a slice. The one thing I can say is that they did not skimp on the philadelphia as they had managed to cover up the lack of of avocado and rice by slathering more of it on. Pretty sure that one piece of Philadelphia had sesame seeds on them but that could have been random crumbs off their counter. The experience was bad enough for me to write down my first ever review. I would absolutely order again if they paid me as I, at the very least, haven't felt sick of it yet.
Instead of giving it just one star, can I remove someone...
Read morePositive things first: sushi I ordered was good, well served, nicely arranged, there were enough chop sticks, ginger, wasabi and soy sauce. I would order there again and it is definitely recommendable! Free delivery starting from 20 euro was nice too. Something that took one star away: 1. The only payment method for online order is: by receiving, no possibility to pay in advance. If I want to surprise someone with a lunch they will have to pay for it!! 2. Web page information is not up to date.. while ordering I was asked to pick it up (home delivery also was possible) at an address that is not their anymore, imagine myself banging into the closed doors. People in the restaurant had no idea about it. I am definitely ready to add a missing star after those points will be...
