This used to be my go-to pizza place in Helsinki, as you always knew it would be great. This place is going down and cannot recommend it anymore. What a disappointment! The interior is beautiful but the customer service and the pizza is bad. Mind you it was not busy at all (only a couple tables of guests) so they would have had time for proper customer service like it used to be before… The chef was Asian and the waiter was Indian… I’m still not sure if he even spoke Finnish as I had to speak English just in case. The waiter did not ask if I wanted ice with my vichy, he did not ask how the pizza was as I ate (he was just awkwardly peeping behind the shelf several times🫣) and he did not ask whether I wanted dessert or not. I had my all time favorite Phangan lover pizza with glutenfree base, and the crust was burnt and all ingredients were lose. Safe to say I will not come again🙃

We went here for dinner, because the prices seemed relatively cheap for Helsinki center, and we were not dissapointed. We ordered two Margherita's with extra buffalo mozzarella on 1 of them. The service was very quick, as we got the pizzas within 15 minutes. The pizzas tasted good, especially in comparison to what you pay for it. The extra buffalo mozzarella was very tasty, but if it was worth paying the 3 euros extra was doubtful. Nevertheless we really enjoyed our pizzas. We also got a little dessert because they were 50% off. The amount of icecream we received wasn't much, but with the discount it was okay pricewise. The icecream tasted really delicious, and we were happy that we ordered them. The only big downside of this place was that the toilet was pretty disgusting

We got here at the perfect time so we didn’t have to wait long to get a table. People who arrived an hour later had to wait quite a while. My partner had a gluten free Vegaano pizza, and I had a vegan Truffo pizza. They were very accommodating and had no trouble with switching from mozzarella to vegan cheese. The pizzas tasted better than any pizza I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend trying the Truffo pizza.

I have visited many Classic Pizza restaurant and was recently there after longer brake. I do not know whether owner has changed or what, but the size of the pizza was now clearly smaller than before and the white wine I knew tasted like it was diluted with water. A disappointment.

Update: My friend insisted going there and I gave the place another chance. Still a disappointment and compared with other Classic Pizza restaurants smaller pizzas with less topping. I will not go...
