Fazer Café Citycenter — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

Very posh but a trend welcoming place. Its mine and my wife’s favourite spot and today we took my parents here too who have travelled from London to visit us, to have a lovely cup of cappuccino and latte (with caramel) WOW! My parents loved the chocolate mix and being able to mix products in a bag. We also loved the fact that this place is family friendly and welcomes children. The premisses is full of desserts which I still need to try when we go there next time. Those who know how to play the Piano, help yourself to work your fingers on the lovely Yamaha Piano and give us customers a unique experience to lighten up the crowd and give the workers a unique motivation. Had a tasty chai latte here. First one I had was very balanced on the sweetness and temperature. The next day I went for another one and it was a bit too sweet. So it depends on who makes it. It seems there's no set recipe. They have outside sitting in the yard which is pleasant and quite (in summer time only). But they also have sitting outside the cafe on the mall side which is great in winter. And also sitting in the cafe itself. The service is pleasant, again depends on who is the attendant. A little underwhelming - felt like a massive tourist trap. Reviews feel a bit misleading in thinking it was anything but that

Coffee wasnt outstanding and the price of the cakes/donuts was eye watering. The pistachio donut was particularly underwhelming for the price. The butter bun, eaten later was good though.

Good place to buy Fazer products as a good selection though.

Staff were all lovely and service great though so not a reflection of their work!
