Restaurant Deliberi - Keskuskatu — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

❌Here is our negative experience after noticing this. In my opinion this is a shame.

Yesterday we visited the Deliberi and after having served and purchased appetizers and bottles of wine we noticed something absurd that should not happen nowadays.

It was closing time when I noticed that the waiter threw away all the appetizers into the trash can.

First, they could ask the customers if anyone would like to purchase at a lower cost. (%)

✅ Alternatives: put the food on the ResQ app 30/40 minutes before closing.

Ask their supervisor what should you do with the waste.

✅ Benefits for the company: less waste recovery of the cost of food a good image of your brand. make your customers happy ☺️

Second, in 2024 with world hunger we continue to see these things. If you want to be proud of your country, this shouldn't happen or at least don't do it in front of customers.

As customers we were willing to buy more starters at a lower price, also because we still had some wine in the bottle.

Now I'm pretty sure the manager will ask the waiter what happened but they already know. But I'm also sure that throwing all this away every night is not normal, please incorporate some measures that are sustainable for the business and the wider community.

In conclusion, you can read this review and do nothing, or start taking responsibility and donate a meal to the homeless.

I have been going to this place like forever, weather it's day time or evening (never had to show ID before, which as a mother of a youngster I totally agree with it). So I presented my ID to the security guy , unfortunately my friend who was with me didn't have her's with her along ( mind u, we're in our late 30's and there's no way we look like 18 yrs old ). We was told the fact my friend didn't have her ID with her they can't let us in and the matter fact the whole place is full so NO VACANT . A minute later a blonde hair girl queued behind us , we let her to have her moment with the security guards just incase as we were still talking out with them to let us in , to our surprise she was let in without any hesitation, no hassle just showing her ID was enough ( what an awkward moment we had ) while we was told a min ago that regardless of me presenting my ID card that " THE PLACE IS ALREADY FULL , WE SHOULD GO SOMEWHERE ELSE" , mind u am a dark skin woman alongside my Persian origin friend. After questioning what we saw , another security guard of a foreign origin looking intervene and reasons out with his colleague to let us in with a reminder to my friend to always bring her ID with her . Based on my personal experience, I take this as a complete racial profiling incident and total...

I am very disappointed! I was there on April 23rd and the burger and fries were unique, as always, this was the place with my favorite and most delicious burgers and fries in Helsinki, to this day! I have been coming here with my family for years specifically for the delicious burgers! Yesterday I got a more disgusting burger from Mc Donalds. Small buns, a nasty little green salad that was obviously old and wilted, the crispy chicken tasted old and disgusting, instead of pickles there was broccoli sauce, and the fries were nothing special. You have lost not only a customer, but also a fan of yours, my whole family is disgusted and disappointed with the change and quality of the food!
