Fazer Café Kamppi — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

The Cappuccino was fine, the ham and cheese Croissant wasn’t bad neither. But I didn’t like their coffee-approach. Well, I was only there once, so I don’t know whether it was a onetime thing or they always do it this way, but here is what happened: Someone before me ordered a coffee that contained Espresso (maybe a Latte macchiato) and the Barista apparently made a double espresso - one half for the Latte macchiato, one half as a „spare espresso“ for whoever might order the next drink that includes an espresso. Well, maybe I’ll overly critical, but I don’t like that. To me, this is not the same as getting my half of a double espresso while two coffees are made at the same time. Because I did not order yet when the double espresso was made. I didn’t get my half of a double espresso, I got the leftover from a double espresso that was made before my order and I did not appreciate that. Well, the Barista made a new espresso for my cappuccino, but still… what have preferred it if it wasn’t necessary to...

Nice cafe from Fazer. Fazer is famous Finnish chocolate and candy maker. They make icecream, bread and coffee, tea and other delicaties. Most famous cafe is on Kluuvikatu Helsinki. This place has a bit confusing interiour. Best thing here is the glass terrace with a wintergarden feeling. This is quite nice on a chilly or rainy day. In summertime they have seats outside too. Coffee and tea are standard OK level as are the sweets and salty offerings. This is good place for a quick coffee, for a longer stay I would go to the Kluuvikatu...

The cake slice I got for €7.5 was tiny IMO. value for money is not great which is why I removed the stars. It looked great with the sparkly color but will I have it again, probably not. It's not worth the money. The tables were left messy and dirty by previous customers and there was no one to clean it up. There was literally only one person working at the counter preparing drinks ans taking orders so the service was slow. This was on a Monday...
