Artisti ja fanit jäivät telkkarin eteen fiilistelemään ja ottamaan kuvia. Roudarit jättivät mikkitelineen telkkarin eteen, jonka asiakkaat siirsivät pois. Puolen tunnin säätämisen jälkeen tajusivat siirtyä sivuun ruudun edestä ja peliä pääsi seuraamaan. Aika erikoinen episodi... ***** Tuoppi lageria 9 euroa, aika messevä hinta... ***** Iso brittipubi. Tietyllä tavalla steriili ja siisti, persoonallusuus ja karheus puuttuu - ainakin vielä, kun on näin uusi paikka. Juomien lisäksi tarjolla myös baariruokaa. Istumapaikkoja on niin sohvilla kuin pöytienkin ääressä. Pitkä tiski palvelee nopeasti vaikka asiakkaita on paljon. Olutvalikoima laaja pulloissa ja hanoissa, teräviä löytyy laidasta laitaan. Muutama telkkari näyttää sporttia. Musiikkimaailma perusaikuisrokkia. Hinnat tuttuun tapaan katossa keskustassa kun ollaan. *** Erinomaiset wingsit! Isoja paloja, joissa myös reilusti lihaa luiden päällä. Kastike hyvä, samoin dipit. Eivät olleet ylikuumia vaan oikean lämpöisiä. Tulivat viikonloppuna nopeasti vaikka paikalla paljon syöjiä. Mukava seurata brittifutista tämän sapuskan kera. Ihan ok hinta tälle murkinalle.

I recently went here with my sister. She claims it to be her favorite bar in Helsinki… and I think I could definitely agree with that! We both had her favorite drink there: A Copparberg strawberry & lime! The bar has this cozy, homey atmosphere and there’s lots of room for people to sit, eat, drink and talk! I’d definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking for a great bar!

Arkadian uusi John Scott´s on niin tyypillinen standardipubituote kun voi olla. Ruskeaa puuta, nahkasohvat ja pitkä baaritiski jonka ääressä ei voi kuitenkaan istua TV:stä voi katsoa mm futista. Musiikki on taustalla hiljaisella ja biisivalikoima taitaa vaihdella perus pop-rock osastolla, eikä häiritse keskustelua, mikä on hyvä. Tuote on sinänsä kunnossa, siisti, mutta ehkä yllätyksetön ja persoonaton, mutta brittipubien ystäville lienee riittävän ok. Ruokapuolesta en osaa sanoa mutta tarjoalla on perus pub kamaa(burgerit sun muut). Juomat ovat positiivisesti poikkeavat Kopparbergin hanatuotteita ja iso tuoppi on pintti eli 0,56 l ja maksaa 9 egee. Paikka sopii seukkailuun ja muutaman juoman ottoon aivan mukavasti. Sijanti on todella hyvä. Uudellenkäynti-indeksi on hyvä. Kesällä terassi lienee hyvin miehitetty, koska aurinko paistaa siihen suht mukavasti

I had to write this review, as my group and I had such a lovely evening at John Scott’s. The staff had made everything possible to make us feel welcome and valued. Super kind, friendly and helpful service. We enjoyed our drinks here, quite a big selection of beers, ciders, cocktails and many options of nonalcoholic drinks which was much appreciated. Such a great place. First of all the staff is friendly and customer minding. And respecting their own space, at the same time. Views are noticeable and a lot of effort has been on decorations.

Food is very good, too. Both lunch time buffet and later afternoon and evening meals.
