In general, I liked the restaurant. It is simply designed, but all the furniture looks good. The restaurant staff was very nice, especially the girl who was my waiter. I also appreciated that the restaurant was open until 10 p.m. on Thursday night. As my waitress mentioned, they close the kitchen at 9 p.m. and allow you to stay inside and eat until 10 p.m. They start to clear the buffet table at 9:30 p.m., which is the final call for all main meals, but desserts remain available until the end. I chose this place because it was open late. All other buffet restaurants around closed at 9 p.m. So, this restaurant is a nice option if you like to have dinner a bit later. Coming back to the food, I mostly liked the buffet selection. The sushi and rolls were generally nice, although a few types had slightly dry rice and not completely fresh fish. The selection for the BBQ grill was big enough, ranging from meat to various seafood. My friend and I cooked only meat, and it turned out pretty delicious. I was really impressed by the salads and vegetable buffet choices, though the vegetables seemed not very fresh. The buffet also had some premade main courses like noodles, spicy chicken, chicken bites, and white rice… The items in this section that I tried were quite tasty. The biggest disappointment for me was probably the drink selection because there really wasn't much of a selection, just one type of plum juice. The other options were lemon water and regular water. Cheap! Also, I was not really impressed by the desserts. They were just okay and seemed very dry. I tried the ice cream and didn't like its taste much; the vanilla one was definitely better than the strawberry one. To conclude my review, I would recommend this restaurant for a visit, especially if you prefer to eat later as I mentioned earlier. €26 for an all-included buffet is actually a great deal. Just don't expect a lot of food variety or excellent...
Read moreWe got there at 20:30 since we saw the place was open until 22:00. We chose the full all-you-can-eat option for 30 Euros. The place is clean and orderly, but they trick you into authenticity by having Korean banners, but the food is not authentic at all (I was there with Korean friends). At 21:00 already they started cleaning up, so the sushi variety was almost down to just salmon, dry surimi and avocado and they had turned off some drink dispensers. They then told us we should get whatever we want to eat already since they will close up the all you can eat (!) buffet that we paid 30 Euros for. But then we saw how they kept inviting new customers in with super friendly smiles (emphasising they could have whatever food as much as they wanted) and they didn't tell them that they were cleaning up until people had grabbed some food already. With the latest batch of customers at 21:40 they even said they'd make new sushi just for them, but in the end they just made one type and only a bit. They don't have even the most basic authentic Korean sauces (they watered them down to liquid, which is absolutely inauthentic - you can see they are trying to save money), the "Korean" marinated meat does not taste anything like in a Korean restaurant, and the Gyoza are overcooked. The salmon was dry and of low quality, and the surimi was dry as rubber as it had been standing there for a while. They have no salad variation as in a Korean BBQ. The Kimchi was abysmal and they had only one type. The sweets are not tasty and cheap, and only the ice cream was good. The meat for frying was of okay quality, and the lamb was surprisingly good. I do not recommend this restaurant a) if you want Korean food and b) for the price...
Read moreCost effective way to eat a wide variety of Asian foods. But I wouldn’t have named it Korean bbq. It’s an Asian buffet. They have a variety of seafood, meat (like pork belly, pork neck, beef that isn’t marinated, lamb, “marinated” chicken) sushi, miso soup, and a mixture of Chinese small dishes and veggies. The quality of meat for the bbq was mostly okay. It’s only questionable because it’s sitting out but not on an ice sheath. Nothing about anything they offer could be considered authentic due to the interesting mix of sauces (dwenjang, hosin, and sweet&sour sauce) and a few side dishes (kimchi, radish, garlic). However, it was a decent place to eat for the night with cheap prices. The staff was really nice and friendly. Definitely a spot to try if you like eating a variety of Asian food. A spot to avoid if you are expecting high quality authentic Korean bbq. Also, the soju is wildly expensive. €22 for a bottle is excessive. It’s €4 a...
