Best restaurant in the world. It has the best sashimi I've ever tasted in my whole life. They literally melt in your mouth. None of the Michelin star restaurants are on the same level with Domo. The gyniku teriyaki has the best beef ever, cooked to medium. It is cooked perfectly, nailed by the chef. The best sashimi in this restaurant is the white fish. The tuna sashimi is seared perfectly outside. The ichiban bento has the best salmon. And it has a generous portion of pork cutlet. I personally dont like pork cutlets, but Domo made me fall in love with pork cutlets. For dessert, i usually get the green tea pannacotta with honey, it is the best dessert (seriously). However, it wasn't available this time. So I got the red bean with vanilla ice cream instead. No doubt, they're truely amazing. The service is great, and the speed of serving food is absolutely unbelievable, it only took around 10 minutes to prepare all four meals for my family, and the taste? Absolutely amazing. I recommend Domo to everyone. Even if you dont like japanese restaurants, give this a try, it'd make you realize what true japanese...

We live in Oulu with my japanese spouse and over there it is impossible to find authentic japanese food in a restaurant. I have to say we had wonderful experience and the food was very good in Domo. It is indeed rare to able to have Unagi outside of Japan. I was happy to enjoy Unagi which was both tender and well prepared. I would also highly recommend trying Salmon Temaki. My spouse had Tonkatsu which in her words reminded her of Japan.

The service was also very nice. We rarely leave tip in Finland since it is not a custom over here, but this time we had to leave since the service was so kind. We had similar interests of growing chilies and other plants, and we enjoyed the plants he showed us. He even gave us seeds for asian onions called nira. They also gave us one extra sushi for free, the chef special with good quality tuna. We had wonderful time over there and we cannot recommend the restaurant enough for people who want to enjoy a piece of Japan in Finland. Thank you Domo...

A calmly understated, ghibli-themed "mom and pop" styled japanese teishoku styled restaurant. The atmosphere was super calming and soothing, with casually careful decor, ghibli music and strong air conditioning. Had gyudon, came unexpectedly with miso and a very fresh salad with goma-dare. Also shichimi. Gyudon was presented in a rectangular, kind of bento box like dish. Presentation was complete and thoughtful. Flavours were full and complex, especially for an under-20e order, and quantity was filling for its price but not "mättö"" style big. Beef was tender, not a single crunch or squeak. Flavour was strenghtened sweetness of onion and richness and toastiness of beef with hints of sesame and soy sauce. Service was very quiet and unintrusive, both invested and careful to not overcare, and took to heart the idea of omotenashi especially in greetings.
