This reminds me of dining at a Japanese restaurant in Japan.
As a welcome dish, they served us cold salmon soup. It was chilled and surprisingly refreshing, leaving a pleasant taste in the mouth.
My husband and I chose Bento for our main course. Overall, it was good—I particularly enjoyed the wakame soup, which was light and served hot. It was included with the sushi and sashimi.
Out of curiosity, my husband tried the salty plum. The taste was unique: salty on the outside and sweet-sour on the inside!
For dessert, we ordered matcha cheesecake. My husband had expected a regular cheesecake with matcha powder as a topping, but it turned out to be matcha-flavored cheesecake. It wasn’t bad, just okay—but paired with the ice cream, it was a perfect combination.
Overall, I’d recommend this place and would definitely love to try more from their menu!
In total, we spent €97. It wasn’t too much considering the ambiance and the wonderful...
Read moreAn authentic Japanese restaurant with a large variety of dishes, all of which are excellent.
The flavor profile is what you find in Japan and not “westernized”.
The pork cutlet katsu bowl comes of a flavorful bed of rice with a runny egg on top. The nori strips wave around in the heat which is a sign of the quality of their preparation.
You can find sushi, sashimi, and maki rolls. The selection of sashimi reflects the great fresh fishes you can get in the region.
We also got the Japanese seafood pancake (okonomiyaki) which was great.
The service was also excellent. Even though we had a very late dinner they took care of our daughters and gave them cute cat chopstick holders, as well as, origami paper to fold while they waited for the meal to arrive.
I’d highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Japanese cuisine in a wonderful setting.
There is also spacious seating and can accommodate...
Read moreAmazing service and such a sweet experience. We went for my sister's birthday and had reserved some seats over the phone beforehand. The restaurant had lovely atmosphere and there was so many options to pick from in the menu. I went with the Yakiniku, rice, miso soup (best miso soup) and matcha ice cream. All of them were very good. My sister took the bento box and it was very filling for her. It also came with miso soup and ice cream. In the end they bought out a slice of matcha cake for my sister with a sparkler candle on it and also gifted her a pair of chopsticks ❤️ The whole experience was great and the food came out super quick as well. We didn't have to wait long for anything. I would highly recommend getting a pot of green tea to share with the group! We spent an average of 30e per person with appetizer, main,...
